SnuggleSafe Microwave Wireless Heatpad with Fleece Cover (colour may vary)

My new puppy was yelping and howling for hours at night, when I left him. Since using the heat pad, he settles quickly, without yowling, and sleeps for long periods of time. He now goes into his crate willingly during the day for a nap.

I use these regularly for my pet rabbits - they add warmth to an outdoor hutch in cold weather, provide soothing warmth for an ill or recuperating bunny, and are good for rabbits recovering from surgery.

Although they're intended for pets - I also use them myself: stuffed under a fleece they provide secret warmth while out walking in freezing weather; are perfect and much safer alternatives to a hot water bottle both at home and while camping; a diabetic friend with poor circulation sits on one and uses a second to warm his feet; another friend uses them to relieve abdominal cramps associated with IBS and endometriosis and my elderly disabled mother-in-law sits with one on her knee.

Heat the pads for just a few minutes in a microwave (6 mins in 800W) and the heatpad will stay toasty-warm for up to 12 hours - much longer than any hot water bottle or wheat-based heat pack.

I can't recommend them highly enough, either for animals - or for you!!

This product is fab. Stays warm through the night. I bought one for our new puppy and she seems to like it, am now looking to buy a second for me! I have used it as a hot water bottle in bed a few times and it is still warm in the morning. Very easy to use, has the advantage that it doesn't get overly hot initially, unlike a hot water bottle. Ideal for pet or human use.

Product worked very well, stayed warm for a good 8 hours when heated correctly. Supplied cover was a bit thin but soft enough, my pup loved it.

After about 4 uses, i left it in his bed overnight and woke to find the liquid contents had spilled/melted onto his bed. The source was from the seal on the side. There were no bite marks (my dog isn't much of a chewer), and the heat pad had never been damaged. As the content is liquid, i would hate to imagine what pain this molten silicone or whatever could have inflicted on an animal's skin. It has certainly ruined the dog's bed and the fleecy blanket!

After sending it back to the manufacturer, they state that my dog MUST have chewed it. I don't know how they came to that conclusion as I have dated photographs clearly showing an absence of bite marks/damage!!! and no refund/damages is forthcoming!

This item does what it says- keeps warm through the night. However, it is the same size and shape as a discus, and it is hard. Cosequently, even with its cover on, it is not really comfortable for the animal to sleep on. I have experimented and found that surrounding the snuglesafe with small, soft items makes a nice bed. The instructions say that if your microwave does not have a turntable, to turn the snugglesafe over during heating to ensure that it is heated evenly. I have found that even with a turntable, it heats up better if I turn it over halfway through heating. Overall- very good.

I've also used them for camping. They they can be heated in a 12V Portable Microwave)taking just 12 minutes when connected to a 12v battery.

Took delivery of the Snugglesafe Heatpad today.
Although my guineas are indoors for the winter they immediately took to the pad that I heated and put into their cage for the cold nights.
Am ordering two more.

What a great idea this is. My cat loves it & whereas before he would often get up at least once in the night, now he seems to keep to his bed all night long. My cat tends to go to bed early, around 5.30pm & even 13 hours later his Snugglesafe is still giving out an element of heat.

I only wish I learned about Snugglesafe before now, as he could have had a nice warm bed to look forward to long ago. Originally I'd looked on the auction site that has taken over the world with a view to buying, but it was only when I was Google searching for reviews on the product, that I discovered it for sale at Amazon and at an amazing price & free p&p. As always with Amazon, the item arrived very quickly & was very well packed.

If you are thinking of buying one of these for your pet, then don't hesitate, you won't regret it & at this price you won't find a better deal anywhere.

My guinea pigs were curious for a few hours now they snuggle up to their heat pads. I have two pads for 4 piggies. I am pleased I bought them, my piggies sit on the pads and seem to be happy otherwise they would not sit on them. I feel more relaxed sleeping knowing they are warm through the night. I love my piggies and feel this is money well spent for my wee ones.
