This little gem performs well if the advice and instuctions contained in the booklet/manual accompanying the product, are followed. Depending on what is being cooked, it will cope with one or two portions of most things that require deep frying. I like it so much that I have purchased a second for the odd occasions when I need to cook for three or four. It saves firing up a large deep fryer when only small portions are required. It is also very easy to clean if done after three to five uses. It is also almost unnoticeable if left on the kitchen workbench.

Super little fryer. Easy to clean and makes perfect chips or scampi or small portions deep fried food.
Unplugs at back for easy storage.
Highly recommended for a small deep fryer.

Chips for 1!. This is just perfect for a single person. No long waits for a big fryer to heat up and no spending on more oil than I need. And it looks good.

Product is quite smaller than seemed so we returned it without using it .Looks well built and would suit a small kitchen .Cannot really comment on it beyond that.

This is ideal for single portions, so easy to clean and easy to store too.

A bit smaller than I imagined - it's a stretch to fry 2 portions of chips in one go - but all works fine. Of course you CAN cook without the sieve thing to increase volume.

This is a terrible product - I've just thrown ours in the bin today and gone out to buy a proper fryer. We were attracted by the compact size as:
- we have a small kitchen
- we reckoned we'd eat smaller portions as a result.

In reality this is not a practical product. It's so small that when you put in even half a basket of chips to fry, the oil bubbles out over the top. And because it's got no power at all the oil cools right down so everything you try to cook in it ends up totally greasy - yuk!

Final complaint - it's ridiculous for cleaning and so ends up totally 'gunked up' which is horrible.

A total waste of money and time - don't buy this.

Bought one for Mum, who then asked me to buy one for widowed sister. So must be ok.
