After the glass filter teapot I bought here in Portugal cracked the first time I poured hot water into it, I decided to hunt around on Amazon for a replacement. I ordered the Dexam 4-cup filter teapot (as my husband drinks herbal teas) and have to say this is the best teapot I have ever had.
Not only does it look great - much nicer than the glass ones (i.e. it's a proper teapot!!), it doesn't drip at all and the small perforations in the filter mean that you don't end up with leaves and dregs at the bottom of your cup. As the filter is so easy to remove, you can choose whether to use leaves or bags. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Was delivered in specified time, lovely quality and well made. Only point I would possibly make would be for the seller to specify if the filter is included as this wasn't entirely clear and some other sellers did not provide the filter so I had to take the risk!

Good teapot. Nice size and shape, pours well and the filter works very well - we haven't found any escapees in the bottom of the teapot or the cup. The filter is a bit tricky to remove from the pot; I have found it best to ease it upwards from the spout side then pull the lever right forward until the spring clip releases. You will no doubt worry it will snap, as I did, but so far it's fine.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the lid doesn't fit completely snug due to the filter lever, but excellent value for the price. I have seen these at over £20 in shops!!

this great teapot makes great tea (with my help!) it pours into the cup without driping everywhere & strains all the leaves so there isnt any in the cup.
and it looks like a teapot!!!

I bought this for my son, who's into retro stuff. The filter is easy to use, and makes using tea leaves as easy as tea bags, but gives a fuller flavour. It pours well.I liked it so much I'm going to buy one for myself

Excellent teapot and filter. The filter is very effective and makes it easy to use loose tea which makes much fuller flavour tea that teabags. The spout pours without run-back whilst he strainer top clicks into an indent in lid which prevents it from falling out. Altogether a very well designed teapot and built in strainer combination.

ery useful teapot for loose tea - better taste than tea-bags. Best if filled just over half, and boiling water added later for second cups. Otherwise use a tea-cosy to retain heat.

Great value for money, as easly makes 4 mugs of tea or 6 large cups. Love the internal filter as I can use leaves when feel like having a nice calming cuppa with real tea leaves.
