Lovely idea, its just a shame the design was not made a little easier. My 4 year old has real trouble pressing the top down to create the icecream and to be honest so did I. The sprinkles top is hard to connect even for an adult. My son needed lots of help which frustrated him and me.

I bought this for my daughter last year, as she loves play doh, but it has had very little use. She cannot press the doh out, to make the ice creams, and the sprinkles are made by chopping up bits of play doh, which scatter beautifully all over the floor. An interesting idea but she's had more fun with her fairy play set which she can use herself.

Me and my eldest son, who is just 3, love this. We found it easy to use, but it is not a toy little ones can use independantly, which is fine by me as I love playing too! I have to hold the base of the machine while my son presses the levers, otherwise it can flip or skid over.
The sprinkles do scatter all over, but we like putting the machine on a tray and taking it out in the garden, then my carpets don't get messy.
I'm glad I listened to the good reviews over the bad as we get a lot of fun and use out of the product.
It is a good price.

My 6 year old loves this set, but it drives me crazy! The colours all get mixed up but she doesn't care. She has spent hours playing with this set. I have bought additional play doh to go in it as it was getting too hard to distinguish between the green, pink and brown. The white sprinkles disappeared after the first two play sessions. All that aside, my daughter loves it. If your child likes to keep their colours seperate go for the burger set rather than this one however if they don't mind mixing things up this if a fun set, if rather messyPlay Doh - 4 Tubs 520g

I ORDERED THIS TOY FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT DID NOT ARRIVE IN TIME. SHE DOES ENJOY PLAYING WITH IT BUT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT SQUEEZING THE PLAYDOH THROUGH THE ICE CREAM SHAPER.

Certain elements of this toy were quite difficult for a 4 year old to master although it did encourage the adults to join in. Our icecreams didn't look as tasty as the pictures on the box but was good fun to use.

Bought for a five year old boy who loves using plasticine/play dough-used frequently by siblings age 2 and 7 so good for a wide age range.Great idea and good fun.Comes with quite a small amount of play dough-would recommend buying extra with this product.Quite durable too.

My 3 year old daughter had been going on about this ice cream play doh set for months so I got it for her as a christmas present. Was really disappointed with it. Its really hard to use, a nightmare to try and clean when finished and the play doh don't come out like it shows you on the box. I wouldn't buy it again.

My daughter was given this for her 5th birthday. It was the first thing she wanted to play with. Her brothers 6 and 3 love it too. All three seem to be able to work most parts of it (the sprinkles maker does sometimes need a bit of help to reconnect, but my three year old can do it if it's not overfull). The best thing is that they have managed to play with it together (without fighting!). Main downside, the colours do get totally mixed up very quickly. Lovely dough was supplied, but it's all a murky brown now... My eldest minds a bit, the others don't.
