Kodak Easyshare M863 - worth buying, 10 Jan 2011
This review is from: Kodak Easyshare M863 Digital Camera - Black (8MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD (Electronics)
I bought this for my granddaughter because her previous one, which came complete with printer dock, was broken. It seems they are now discontinued, but this one had been completely refurbished by Kodak and carried a 12 month guarantee, which is all you get with a new one anyway. It was packed in the box with all the accessories you would expect when buying a new camera. She was very pleased with it because she can now print off her photographs again without having to use the computer. The only thing not included is a memory card, which you will need, because this camera does have quite a small internal memory.

Great Camera, 6 Dec 2010
This review is from: Kodak Easyshare M863 Digital Camera - Black (8MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD (Electronics)
This is the first digital camera I got and still have today. It may only be 8.2MP but I have taken some really great pictures with it. I find it much better in natural light, rather than dimly lit areas though. The image stabalisation is good, I take a lot of pics of animals and pets, so I use it a lot. I have never had a problem with it, the battery life is good, and menus are very easy to navigate. I would reccomend this camera to anyone, especailly 1st time users. I will add some of my pictures.

Ghostly, 29 May 2010
This review is from: Kodak Easyshare M863 Digital Camera - Black (8MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD (Electronics)
All my photos seem to make people look really ghostly. I've tried various settings but none seem to be particularly flattering. It's even worse when flash is on. But the camera is handy and lightweight.

Nice starter camera... but don't drop it!, 23 Feb 2010
This review is from: Kodak Easyshare M863 Digital Camera - Black (8MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD (Electronics)
I bought this camera about 2 years ago to replace a previous Kodak EasyShare camera that was a bit too heavy to carry in the pocket. I found this M863 to be quite handy, light, compact, and flexible. It might be a bit slow when you use the flash, and picture quality is OK but not fantastic, but I think it is a nice product as your first digital camera. I am buying a new camera after the M863 just died after dropping it only once from 1.5 meters with the lens extended (the camera was on). The lens got deformed and stuck, and there is little I can do to fix it. So my advice is... make sure you buy a nice carrying case for it and grab it tightly! :-)

Easy use camera, 23 Feb 2010
This review is from: Kodak Easyshare M863 Digital Camera - Black (8MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD (Electronics)
This Kodak camera is easy to use, takes excellent pictures and allows you to crop which is very useful when you have too much background, when you have had to take a picture in a hurry for example.
