It is not a bad concept, built nicely, but not much use.
Firstly it tells you to stick the probes into the wood by 5mm. Just try and do that with seasoned oak! I could not penetrate by more than 1mm and, as this is essentially monitoring electrical resistance, will not give a significant reading.
Secondly, it is a complete mystery as to what any meanings actually mean. The instructions are probably created using a Chinese to English dictionary, and hence taking a bit of fathoming. But you can discern that Special wood (!) different temperature, 'wood growing up in different place' means the device will have a 'different measuring value'. And that 'this moisture meter is just based on one kind of wood'.
But it does not say what kind of wood!
Save your money. I wish I had: another useless toy.
