Really sturdy, well packed and clean. I was overall really pleased with the ball. The only thing I would say is I bought the size recommended for my height (5'6/7) but found this is about 2-5 inches too small. Your hips are meant to be higher than your knees but no amount of blowing up the ball gets that result for me so have to say I should have got 1 size up.

I had my baby 4.5 months ago and i bought the birth-ease ball when i was 20 weeks pregnant. Basically it is the same as any other ball and i spent a long time trying to decide which one to buy. The main reason i chose this one was that it has a leaflet inside which has some exercises for pregnant women. I used it nearly everyday to help keep my muscles working as it is a great form of gentle exercise. It is also great for postnatel as well. I also found my partner using it for his bad back. In short i really like this product and i still use it now!

Very prompt delivery and blew up in no time. Am 26 weeks and had an awful day of lower back pain, but this helped to ease it no end. My cat doesnt seem interested in it and so limited chance of it getting clawed! I am 5ft 6 and it was just the right size for me.

I would recommend all Mums to be to get one of these. I did with my 2nd pregnancy after my baby was sitting spine to spine. I used this ball every day gentley exercising, it helped my baby move into the best position for child birth. I used it during my labour and found it eased the pressure on my back and I ended up with a very quick labour. A super product.

I dint get my birthease ball and pump and massage oil ( by birthese ) from Amazon but the product is on here and i feel i may be helping women ( if i can ) by doing a review .

I purchased my ball as a women in her 40's without children that was recommended to use one for my pelvic area manipulations if you like by a lady obs and gyne who operatec on me for endometriosis - recto vaginal at that time i wanted children that was when i was 42 or 43 im still tackling this issue now - i only got diagnosed then !! and had tewo surgeries since ! bowel the big one to take that off the bowel and first op ..im due to have oopherectomy this sept 2013 but keeping uterus in reality i still have that option so birth balls are not NOT applicable to me even bow and after surgery .they are good for women i firmly believe that pre and prost prenancy and also for menstruation issues ..ovulation issues and womens healthy lower areas so young girls get used to using balls not just for giving birth on ..dare i say this please dont be insulted i mean for all women me too good for love life ..you want a good ball ..this is a good ball with a pump and a good deal . My balls has lasted it comes with two things you instert and mine came with a shieet of exercises afor pregnant and post pregnant and general work with the ball . Its very safe you will feel confident its strong it is latex free . i have a latex allergy but im sensitive to stong smells or something that could make me feel sick but you can hug it and ive had times when i had severe labour pains and gone to hospital i used the ball while my mother massaged my back ..lower back and i used morphine ..from doctor ..so dont worry just relax im here to help you make your choice in a wonderful time for you be confident and congratulations if your preparing ..its good ball .

I got this when I was pregnant and in a lot of discomfort. This helps ease the pressure on your aches and pains. Did the light exercises too which I think helped with post labour! I still use this now as an exercise ball.

I found this didn't help with labour pains, but must have been useful in getting things moving and baby's head engaged as it always helped get my bowels moving after 15 minutes or less of bouncing on it, and my husband found the same. Was also comfortable to sit on at times when other forms of seating were too uncomfortable due to pressure. I sat used the ball daily in my 3rd trimester and my daughter remained in a good position all the way through, so it might have been helpful on that front.

I didn't find the ball very useful in labour, it didn't help with pain or comfort a I have heard balls can for some, and I preferred being on my hands and knees to leaning on the ball. However we have continued to use it since then as seating, and our baby daughter adores being held while my husband or I bounce on the ball, so has been very useful in calming her.

This is a fantastic product. I'm 5'6" and it's the right size for me, but be sure to inflate it as far as it will go - your hips should be higher than your knees. I've just been on a course for calm birthing and the instructor had exactly the same ball- so it should be good! I'm 8 months pregnant at the moment and am finding the ball comfy to sit on and do exercises with. Apparently it helps get the baby in the right position for birth as well. I was advised that it's probably best to get a 'birth' one rather than a usual exercise one as they are 'anti-burst'.

Delivery was quick and the ball comes with a couple of handy leaflets for exercises (not just ones for pregnancy). The pump is good, and there are a couple of extra plugs included.

Recommeded.

Decided to go for the birthing ball as many people had recommended it and said good things about using a birth ball. It's very comfortable to sit on - takes pressure off your back. Would recommend :)

I couldn't decide between this ball, a cheaper alternative without a pump or more expensive with DVD etc. Decided to opt for this one and am pleased with it. It comes with a handy little a5 4 page leaflet with pictures and explanations of pregnancy, during labour and post pregnancy exercises. The pump is a glorified balloon pump that you can
pick up anywhere for about a pound. The ball
is very easy to pump up by hand and hasn't lost a lot of air and I feel that it is thick
enough to not burst easily. All in
all I'm very happy with it but if you don't need a pump or the leaflet a cheaper ball
would probably be just as good.
