being an avid outdoors man, in a i lived in trees fighting the advance of eco terrorism for 8 yrs plus sort of way, it certainly takes a brilliant idea and a serious piece of kit to impress me. The hennessy hammocks are one of these truly amazing pieces of kit, two uprights (usually trees) and your ready to sleep in minutes. I invested in the larger hex fly and some snake skins which make setup and take downs a breeze. This has to be the best temporary shelter i've ever slept in, level ground is not necessary and i have even pitched across small rivers and streams.
if you are in any doubt about this piece of kit search YOUTUBE for videos out of the hundred or so i've yet to find a bad review. Loads of reviews from people doing the A.T. in the USA singing it's praises.

Excellent hammock. Comfy and easy to set up and take down - even easier with snakeskins (recommended). My 12 year old regularly puts it up single handed in a couple of minutes. I like the way you get in from underneath and the velcro snaps shut behind you, so no risk of dirt or weather coming in with you. Tarp included is quite small but adequate - could be a problem in strong sideways winds, but you can buy a bigger tarp. Weighs about a kilo, so quite heavy for a backpacking trip and we haven't worked out how to use it as a bivvy shelter if you don't have trees. By the way, it does still fit in the sack provided with snakeskins on.
