4.0 out of 5 stars ronson candle lighter
Excellent product. Received well packed. Was not direct from Amazon so took a few days longer than normal but completely acceptable.

1.0 out of 5 stars The end falls off when hot
My mum needed a way to light incense oil candles in the holder, so I bought her this. To stop her burning her hands with matches.

Then the end falls out and burns the carpet.

It should be welded, instead they used cheap low temperature glue that melts when hot.

Very badly designed. I hope they take notes and address this issue.

I got this from John Lewis. This is an okay lighter but if your hand is recently wet or moisturised it is extremely difficult to push the trigger!!

Worked properly once or twice, became so stiff to operate my wife could not use it. Flame tiny even when turned to full and refilling it makes no difference, very disapointing.

This is the worst candle lighter I have tried. Trigger stiff. Hurts your thumbs. Soon ran out of gas. Wouldnt refill. Cricket and Prof brands work better. Cricket the best. Prof brand flint didnt last long.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pathetic!, 28 Nov. 2014
This review is from: Kitchen Craft Butane Gas Lighter (Kitchen & Home)
Absolute rubbish, don't waste your money on this product. Bought 2, both stopped working after a week and I cannot seem refill them. Can't adjust the flame either. Better off with a box of matches!

This simple looking lighter is poor design, unreliable to light and seems to run short of fuel quickly.

Lasted 6 months, then switch broke. Avoid.

The switch was very stiff to operate to begin with, a sign it wasn't to last for long.

It felt very cheep, no weight to it at all.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless, 13 Dec. 2010
This review is from: Kitchen Craft Butane Gas Lighter (Kitchen & Home)
Nice design, but switch doesn't work properly. Like other reviews, if your hand gets moist, you have a difficult (if not impossible)time getting the switch to work.

Nice and styish but does run out of gas quickly, say about 2 weeks of use twice per day... very quick. Yes it's refillable but that's a lot of hassle.

Bought 2 of them, they both packed up working within two weeks. Quite pleased in a way as I was filling them up every few days.
