Not a very well made toy. Doesn't close properly, certain things don't work properly, small hole covers come off easily, very 'flimsy' feeling. Would not recommend. Don't want to return it as my 6 yr old son seems to like it - not as much as I think he thought he would though.

I have just received this item today and it includes 2 completely Gold coloured Gormiti figures rather than the 2 normal red figures shown in the picture. I have uploaded a photo which you can see by clicking on 'customer image' near the Amazon photo. I think this is a Europe edition as it has other European languages first on the box. The figures are called 'The Fiery Angel' and 'Firespitter'. I think this is a completely updated model as the Volcano looks different too eg there is no green flora over it.
I must admit I haven't taken it out of the box yet as it's a Christmas present but it looks sturdy and impressive.
The volcano opens out completley and has a puncher, a fire dragon, an opening mouth, lookout, firing tongue and talon. It opens out completely to reveal secret hideaways. I thought I'd do a quick review as things have obviously changed since the only other review. Surprisingly it's very large compared to the Murena Den playset we already have. You could get away with giving this as a main Christmas present for a 4 year old.
I'm very pleased with it so far. I will update this review after Xmas when it has been properly road tested my my Gormiti mad sons. The creatures have accompanied them from sandpit, to bath, to bed for the last 6 months are are definitely value for money.
The second edition of Gormiti characters are coming out soon and look even more impressive so I think this toy will stay popular for at least the next year.
Highly recommended. My sons will think it's worth the money for the Gold Gormiti alone. I bought this item direct from Amazon yesterday so other sellers might still have the old not so good edition.

This was a bit of a disapointment as a bit cheap and tacky but my son seem to like it. Nothing much to it. Needs to be a real gormiti fan to appreciate it I guess

Product was as expected, my 6 year old enjoys playing with it and its got quite a few different things on it which he enjoyed exploring.

We bought this for our 5 year old son who has had hours of fun with his friends, well worth the investment although I would not have paid the 50 Euro it cost here in Spain.

My son loves this, although has said it is a little on the small size for the figures to fit in and on. However, the quality is good, it's quite solid (not like the Gormiti island which I've seen and would avoid buying!) and so far, he has had hours of fun with it.

My son has had hours of fun playing with this along with the Gomitti playset purchased,a durable toy and good for imagination. great buy

Our 7 yo son loves Gormiti figures so, having checked the reviews, this sounded a good Christmas gift. And he loved it - it has quite a few features which look a bit tacky to the critical adult eye, but he has played with it a lot with his friends and it gives a good focus to the play figures. It also comes with a short DVD explaining the mythical origins of the Gormiti which he finds fascinating.

So while it may not seem tremendous value for money, it will probably be a big hit for children who collect Gormiti figures - which is after all what matters most - pounds v playing time.

The hinges on the little doors broke off within minutes of the toy being unwrapped. The little doors pop off really easily and I when I tried to put them back on the hinge broke in half.
The gold gormiti figures are too big to slide down the shoot, and I'm wondering what the point of the shoot is?
However, my 4 year old say's it's "fantastic".
All in all, rather dissappointing to Mummy who bought it!Gormiti The Volcano Playset
