Very impressed! There was some speculation on the web about the signal strength of the scanner, I can assure you it is very clear even from my house more than 10 miles from heathrow! Great value for money. Good for anyone that wants to listen to their local airport ATC

Bought this as a replacement for my previous scanner that was 15 years old and becoming faulty. This Maycom is much smaller and fits neatly into a breast pocket. Reception is as good as my previous scanner but not better. I have tried to get a larger extendable aerial without luck. But it is perfect for listening to small boat traffic on the Solent which is what I use it for.

A simple and cheap way for an airband radio.. its a good radio and also portable.
1 drawback is the small antenna, it does not give a good range but can be easily changed with a telescopic one...

A very good product and does just what I need. Very good and quick delivery.

The actual product was very disappointing, massive amount of static, the company who supplied were very good, we returned the product and recieved our money back no quibble.

delivery time was exeptional 24 hours its ok but im afraid reflects the price local reception is ok but could do with a little help no areial alternative suggests rechargeable batteries has provision socket for dc charger but neither this or batteries are provided so standard aa batteries being used life of which is an unknown also has provision for earpiece but again doesnt come with one seemed a bit incomplete oh and you will need frequency guide
