Got this as a birthday present and haven't stopped using it since. If, like me, you love your posh coffees but don't want to line Starbucks' pockets on a daily basis, buy yourself one of these + a cafetiere and bob's your uncle! Makes the milk really frothy in seconds and is also easy to clean and comes in neat little storage case. Can't recommend it highly enough, which is why I'm buying all my friends one for Christmas.

I bought this for making my kids to help make their own milkshakes, hence choosing the cow design one.
My youngest son was first to try it and nothing happened, I changed the batteries but still nothing happened but I noticed they seemed loose.
I bent the contacts at the top a good few mm and on putting it back together it worked.
My kids love using it and it does work well now, just a bit of a pain having to find something to bend the contacts and worrying I was going to break it.
I would probably buy a different one next time for this reason.

I received this as a gift this Christmas, having requested it. I had my first Aerolatte milk frother many years ago when they first came out, and was very happy with it. Since then, I have used many copies, none of which seem to match up to the Aerolatte in terms of power and getting the milk to froth up. So, I'm very happy with this and wish I'd stuck with Aerolatte in the past rather than going for cheaper and less effective alternatives. Having said that, the Aerolatte seems to have come down in price from what they were originally. Recommended.

Arrived promptly, batteries included and it works - rather well actually. You can get a good idea how to use it on YouTube. Use it with instant coffee if you don't have an expresso machine - can liven up a plain old coffee with a nice frothy top.

Changed out batteries but still not powerful enough to froth milk. Mixer is fast out of milk but slows down too much when immersed in milk. Going to send it back

Once in a blue moon a kitchen gadget becomes indispensable and in daily use, rather than languishing at the back of a drawer awaiting the next charity collection. The aerolatte moo is superb.

If you want a really frothy coffee and use milk powder then half fill the mug with coffee, add all the milk powder and then froth it up. Finally add the rest of the coffee - much frothier, probably something to do with the higher protein concentration?

I have given up with the steam frother on our coffee machine, this is safer, quicker and better...

Udderly unmissable

I use a tassimo coffee maker and although the coffee is great, the frothy milk through the tassimo discs is poor and expensive. Now however, while the machine is making me an expresso I froth up a little cold milk in a beaker using the aerolatte, microwave for 20 seconds to warm the milk and increase the froth and have the PERFECT frothy milk to add to my delicious coffee. Wish i'd purchased this years ago. Great having a case to store in for hygeine reasons and to avoid damage to the device while storing.

Thank you soooo much Diane below for your review. I loved my aerolatte, but it hasn't worked for a while, so was about to buy another one, then I read your review. I went and bent the battery contact points on my old one with a skewer, put in new batteries and it now works again.

Yes, this is a bit of a design fault, but this is still an excellent product and for a cheap price you can add a bit of luxury to your home coffees etc.

It's only small but it's very powerful! Bought it for my son to make him babycinos. I was amazed how it turned a small amount of milk into so much froth.

okay okay - i bought it purely for the design, but it really is a great little gadget. makes frothy work of milk in a diddle and is helpful to use for powdered drinks to stop lumps. also comes with a plastic case and a leaflet of tips on how to use it.
plus it stands out in my drawer - friends have noticed it in there and laugh about it... in a jelous wish-they-had-one way.
would recommend.
