In the past Datel was King of the cheat devices, however in recent years their products quality has gone down. Putting profits first and the customer last it would seem. Many of the Action Replay range of products in recent years are simply a cable to a Windows PC and nothing to do with the console you are playing on! A bit of a con I think! And certainly not easy! This product is actually for the Nintendo DS, is simple to use and works on games as you play them. You put your game into i-cheat then this combination into your DS/DSL and you are presented with a list of cheats available for that game, simply tick the box with the cheats you want to activate and press start. If you want to check if cheats are available for your game check check out www.i-cheat.co.uk, it is updated frequently with new cheats for old and new games. New cheats can be entered via the DS's touch screen or automatically over Wifi. Pretty much any game you can think of has cheats of some kind available. Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Zelda etc. etc. etc. If you have ever wanted to cheat at any DS game ever then this is the product for you.

I was stuck on a game and saw this when i went shopping (it was a slightly different one but apparently they're all the same in this series). As son as i got home, i followed the instrictions, which include pictures, and withing two minutes, i was selecting the cheats i wanted and they were just what i was looking for. I also like the update feature as some games i've got had extra cheats, but if you haven't got wi-fi, it allows you to add it in manually from their website, which also works well. It has a ton of cheats pre-loaded on already, so if there is a game which you are unlikely to play, just select the game and delete it, then there is more room available for more cheats. The cheats differ from game to game and as far as i can see, it has different cheats from action replay (i-cheat seems to go along the lines of unlimited money, power-ups etc). HOWEVER, there is something i feel i should warn you about. I have three games which are from the USA, and i wanted a little help with mario 64. I put the cartridge in the way it's supposed to go, switched the ds on, and it came up "insert ds game." I knocked it off, but the same thing happened again. I tried a game which was from UK and it worked, which made me realise that it doesn't work with imported games, which is a shame. Apart from that, it works really well.

Bought this for my son's 9th birthday as he was desperate for one. He was very impressed, although found that not all of his games worked on it! Would recommend it though

Great gizmo!!! If you only do one thing with it then you have to check out the Mario brothers big mushroom cheat. All the large mushrooms u want just by pressing the back right button! The wi-fi update is a great feature and easy to use aswell.

very impressed with my purchase of i-cheat so far. Found myself revisiting old games just to see what spin i-cheat could offer! The free updates were the biggest incentive purchase. top product easy to use 4/5

My nephew found this out through his friends at school, after getting him one its all he talks about. Not to sure what the previous poster is talking about, they all seem to love the pokemon cheats. Next job is to get him wifi at home so he can use the online updates.

exelent definitly the best way the help on games with the wifi up-date (a bit hard but easy with instructions) i would recomend this to the world and his wife

i've had this AND a datel action replay, this is easier to use but i prefer datel's AR as the codes are much more plentiful.Datel Action Replay for Nintendo DSI/LITE/DS/XL (Latest version inc Black/White Pokemon updates)

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter to bring her on in her DS games so that she wasn't so frustrated. It does the job and she is delighted with it.
