The fact that SRV isnt better known in the UK is an absolute crime against music... If you like listening to amazing guitar (not shred metal rubbish but real skillful tone-minded playing) then SRV is the absolute man (obviously in the company of greats like Hendrix, BB King, Dave Gilmour etc etc but lets not open that can of worms about "who's the greatest".. Just know that this is an album that you should own. And I defy anyone to not listen to Little Wing while driving at night and not move to a place where all is well in the world...

Stevie Ray Vaughan, or SRV as he was also known as, was one of the greatest guitarists of all time. His tastes in music varied greatly, and this came across in what he played. If you have never heard this artiste before, then this is an ideal introduction into the legend. With great songs and music, you can really appreciate SRV's talent on the strings. An ideal album for your music collection.

This album is a great first introduction to the great Stevie Ray Vaughan. It was recommended to me by a work colleague and it hasn't been out of my CD player since I bought it. Some great tunes and a really good mix of styles.

A very good showcase of Stevie Ray Vaughan, legendary blues/rock guitarist/singer/composer. "Couldn't Stand the Weather" is probably the favourite track, but there are 15 to choose from. When you don't hear someone for a while you tend to forget how good they were until you hear them again & remember what a tragic loss he was to the world of music lovers, going long before his time, like Jimi Hendrix.

From 'Voodoo Chile' to 'Little Wing'; every song on the album is an amazing work of art - would recommend!

Just the job for listening to in the car when thecradio is only playing rubbish. SRV was so talented this album of his best stuff is a real joy for anyone who appreciates good guitar music especially in the style of Jimi.Hendrix. Love it.

I am into rock blues but somehow SRV appears to have passed me by. An amazing album, by an amazing player, and a great introduction to his work. I shall be investing in his back catalogue as finances allow.

This is a fabulous collection of all the hits and more of one of the greatest ever blues rock guitarists. There is nothing really to be said apart from buy it. If you have never heard him before then this is a great starting point. If you are a guitar fan but not necessarily a blues fan, give this a try anyway. If SRV cannot convert you then nobody can.

Bought this after listening to a few tracks on Spotify. Never been a fan before now. Love it, Great blues guitar. Covers of the Hendix songs are a pretty good tribute. Took a while to arrive , but worth the wait. For the price of this CD you just cannot go wrong.

SRV is a brilliant Guitarist (one of the best) and is on the Country Side of Blues (compare with Gary Moore who was on the Rock side of Blues). I can appreciate his mastery, energy etc but don't find him quite as entertaining as many do.
