I bought this television on the grounds of reading the previous two reviews and above all samsungs reputation.
The build quality and looks are obviously not going to disapoint, however my personal opinion of the picture quality and sound through standard digital reception is well below my expectations.
I was running this tv through sky and the picture appeared muddy and response time was terrible, it also was an absolute nightmare getting the picture settings right (far too many optional/unnecessary tweaks).The sound was also very poor.That and a pixel blowing out after 5 weeks just about put the cherry on the cake for me.
I contacted amazon for a refund and there impeccable customer service took over and i got a swift refund.
I opted for an LG instead and couldn't believe the difference in picture and sound quality..my advice to anyone is if your gonna buy an LCD television go for an LG you won't be disapointed.IMVHO.

I really liked this TV when I got it because style wise it looks so much better than others on the market. However, although the picture quality is excellent, the sound is not so good and was not that loud even when you turned it up full.

We also had a number of faults with the TV, firstly the TV made a really loud buzzing noise when on stand-by mode, when Amazon replaced this the stand was faulty on the next one so decided maybe it was just not meant to be.

I have since got the LG 22" widescreen, I am not convinced that the picture quality is quite as good as the Samsung although it is early days, but the sound quality is excellent.

On a positive note, Amazon were excellent with replacing the products and cannot fault their customer service at all.

Finally got around to buying this one after a lot of reading around other TV's. I am soooo glad i went for this one.

The picture quality is awesome when playing the xbox 360 on it in game mode. Although the max input it will take is 1080i and not 1080p, but at 22" the difference isn't noticeable.

Another Samsung product bearing the high hallmark standard of the successful company. It has passed all tests with colours and we cannot detect any flaws in the systen to date.I would recommend the product to anyone looking for a smaller LCD televisionfor the smaller room.

I bought this TV after comparing it with several other similar models, and I definetly would recommend it to a prospective buyer. It is readily wall mountable (VESA 200x100) and looks great. It can display in upto 1080i (despite what it says in the manual!!) and the picture quality is fantastic when playing in the game mode on the PS3.

Overall a great buy and a great price.

This set was ordered on the 23rd Dec having been let down by another large TV retailer (Beyond TV) who didn't seem to care that it was a Christmas present. It arrived the next day, so Amazon ,a huge thank you!

The set it self is everything you need from one this size as a second set. I am not a TV anorak but I love it. When the main set (a CRT) goes bang it will be Amazon and Samsung I come back to

Studied the market for a smaller version of my existing panasonic 32", for use in a smaller room (11 feet X 12 feet).

Amazon delivered my 22" Samsung TV on time, price very competitive, product excellent....set up in no time, have no trouble running with virgin cable, Freeveiw works fine as well.

Picture quality excellent, and this size tv, suits the room size as well.

Would recommend both, Amazon for service, and Samsung for a quality product.

I bought this tv after reading many reviews and finally decided on this one. I bought it on the 22nd of december and i recieved it today 24th december. I payed an extra £7 p&p to ensure id recieve it on time. And was told it would arrive by 1pm, and surley it did! 12.59 preciesly. Thanks again amazon. Tv so far is great, picture is clear on dvd and large screen. Sound is pretty good too, perfect for bedroom, only dissapointment is that the pixels arent that great when having atena pluged in, as the sky isnt working atm, and freview doesnt work in the area. but overall great looking tv

Samsungs all the way , LG are good... but ive had samsung for years n they get better n better ... almost competing with reliablity as sony and panosonic ! No problems

Had this TV for 3 weeks now without a problem. Actually got it for £280. Excellent Value.
