This tyre gauge does exactly what you want it to do. It gives a quick and accurate pressure reading and is easy to fit onto the valve. There is a solar panel so the battery does not run down quickly and there is a backup for when it does.

The depth gauge is just as easy and accurate, so easy to read and will give a reading all across the tyre.

Every conscious car owner should keep one of these in their car.

This product is absolutely great. So easy to use in any of the units that your car manual chooses to list the correct tyre pressures for your vehicle. Ok, so it switches itself off after a few minutes use but this ensures that the battery does not run out if accidentally left on. This product has a home in my glove box and is used on a regular basis.

I was looking on the web for a digital tyre gauge that was easier to read than my analogue gauge that I have had for over 20 years.

I came across Auto Express UK March 2010 test review of 12 tyre gauges, which the Ring Digital was the overall winner, so hence my purchase of the Ring Digital, but I must admit I was apprehensive if it was going to be accurate as it is such a low price tyre gauge and having to retreat back to using my old accurate analogue gauge.

When the gauge arrived I tested it against my analogue gauge and two tyre shops using their gauges and to my amazement the Ring Digital gauge was accurate.

This gauge is very easy to use and the screen display is bright and clear due to the backlight, so no need to use my reading glasses which I had to use for my analogue gauge.

I keep the gauge in its original packaging in the car glove box so as to prevent it from accidentally switching on and protecting the gauge itself from all my junk in the glove box.

Last month all the family received one of these gauges from Santa and I have highly recommended it to all my friends.

Very prompt delivery. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I do NOT find the gauge turns off too quickly. In fact I always turn it off manually because I can't wait for the auto shut off. I believe the readings to be accurate (I compared it with another identical gauge, a manual gauge and the gauge on my footpump). The display is clear and no doubt the red LED light would prove useful if I checked my tyre pressures in the dark ;)

My criticisms are that it is all too easy to switch on accidentally in the glovebox, too easy to accidentally change the scale (from PSI to one of the other 3) and it wouldn't work at all on 2 of the 4 valve extenders fitted as standard to my VW. I have since overcome this last problem with the deft use of a craft knife by reducing the thickness of the rubber seal to allow the thingy that depresses the valve pin to protrude a little more.

Easy to use, good value. BUT it turns itself off every few seconds so if you're inflating something it then needs to be turned on again, go through its own reset routine and it gets frustrating waiting for it time after time. (A set of car tyres = at least four runs of the routine if any air is required. Tedious.)

It seems that buying a tyre gauge is a bit of a hit and miss affair. I now have three gauges that all read different pressures. When testing the pressures visits to the local garages, tyre fitting centres, superstores and more all produce different results on the same tyres. This Ring RAC150 appears to provide a good average reading that is reasonably easy to read and provides a number of pressure scales. I am using it now as my standard pressure gauge.

Product came and on first impression was very good. As mentioned by another reviewer the button can be accidentally pressed when stored in a bag etc hence running the battery down. This happened to me. However as batteries were pretty cheap I thought I would change them restoring my pressure gauge back to working order. Wrong - Now all that happens is that the screen lights up but there are no readings shown. Yes a totally blank screen. Maybe I had a one off bad item. It was cheap and you get what you pay for. With this in mind, if I buy another gauge it will be a good quality mechanical type.

With nothing to lose as the return postage was free, I sent the gauge back, and although it took the best part of a month they sent a replacement. I have now therefore added a star to the rating I had previously given. Well done!!

Easy to use - Has a comfortable grip - Gives consistent readings - Well priced. Only drawback that I've found, is that it cannot be reset, as the instructions said, by pressing the button. It has to be switched off and started again.

Great product. Small, easy to use and has a tyre depth gauge as well. Accurate and consistent. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an accurate tyre pressure gauge.

great little gizmo. clear display and good size. really useful light as well and also has solar panel. also has bar and lb/sq in which not all others do.
