If you are a Maximo Park devotee,this latest offering is for your collection.Girls Who Play Guitars is a nice little pop song,bouncy and with some catchy lyrics "We used to talk about girls who play guitars-we used to talk of our plans in tiny bars" and my favourite, The Unknown,is a mysterious dark ode to a dead romance,with some lovely chords from keysman Lukas Wooller,pinning the song together.I listened to this track quite a few times,as it intrigued me,in true Maximo style.
Sandblasted And Set Free is an instrumental,very hummable,and I Remember Joe Brainard is a touching memorial to an artist.

Quirky selection of tracks from the ever intriguing Maximo Park.
Very nice.
