When used in very small quantities and applied using a microfibre cloth, this creamy balsam successfully reduces the impact of scratches in leather furniture. I have an armchair that my cats jump on from the top of a wardrobe, landing on the top and sliding down the back. It has numerous scratches as a result, some are quite deep. I cannot say that the balsam totally removes these scratches, but it does eliminate the 'ripped edge' effect and makes them an awful lot less noticeable. I dab the corner of a microfibre cloth into the pot and then gently rub the cream into the leather. I have not found there to be any colour variations subsequently, even though I only treat the scratches.

It is not a miracle worker and I did not expect to be able to remove scratches from leather furniture, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much better my furniture looked after a very brief spruce up using this product. I would certainly recommend it.

I love this. I am obsessive about caring for my leather sofas and have tried many products to give them the finish I want. I shampoo and condition them twice yearly but I would use leather wipes every week, now I use this balsam. It leaves my aniline sofas looking so supple and soft, I can't recommend it enough

Smells like marzipan so I am happy! Good polish makes my leather products look renewed and gleam again. And of course, smells delicious

I have nothing but good words to say about Lord Sheraton Leather Balsam. It is a rich moisturising conditioning cream that soaks deep into leather, and leaves a nice natural looking shine due to the beeswax content. It comes is a quality glass jar with metal screw top lid. I would compare the product and packaging to Saphir Nappa Leather Balm Medaille d'Or, which is several times the price.

Applying the product is very easy. It is recommended that you apply sparingly with a cloth, but I do tend to apply it with my fingers. The heat of my fingers helps warm the balsam and encourage it to soak deep into the leather. It is like applying a rich almond scented hand cream.

I have applied this to a delicate leather Mulberry hand bag, leaving it supple, and restoring a beautiful sheen. I have also used it on the leather seats and door trim on my car.

I bought this for my leather jacket which is slightly scuffed. It has helped but I think I need to treat the leather a few times. It is better than anything else I have tried.

I bought this to try to repair the leather of my well-loved boots which were showing wear and tear. It seems to be helping quite a bit and I shall continue using it until my boots are back to their original state.......or at least a lot better looking than they were. Thank you Lord Sheraton!

I wanted this balsam to treat a super new leather jacket - it's a great design & look, but the leather is quite cheap and hard as it's 'split' leather. The product worked really well and softened it nicely after several applications.

old worn dirty leather sofa...searched amazon & read reviews (you know the drill!) ...bought various bits including a colored balm/deep clean leather liquid /and Lord Sheraton Balm (bear with me)....set to work -deep clean leather liquid seemed fine = lots of dirt off- then colored balm (didn't want dye as I like the old patina) colored balm made it glow beautifully..but as I wanted it to remain aged and not overly colored I then went on to the Lord S Balm which is clear ....worked a very small area at a time etc and LS took all the colour balm back off! (not color
of original sofa leather though) BUT it also cleaned a whole lot more of the leather that I thought would stay dark forever ...this stuff cleans beautifully/smell is delicious! ,,,suspect the original liquid deep clean may have helped by 'opening' the leather up......shone like a dream-took a lot more than the normal sparingly suggested- as I used it for a 'double deep' clean over the whole sofa (lot less next time)... 'finished off' with a dose of the colour balm to give the 'glow factor' ...one very happy owner of a glowing clean and beautiful old sofa ... brilliant stuff
