Having gone to school with three of these guys, and seen them live at school(a few years ago now) I knew they would make it big! Was abit of a shock to find this album in HMV so soon though!

If your a fellow guitarist then you'd appreciate the awesome riffs that make this album great! Although it's not all manic riffage it must be said! For example the first track ("Empirical Proof") shows the bands melodic style too, with a slow harmonised guitar lead towards the end!

Aside from that I can't really single out specific tracks on this album.. it's all good! Great guitar work, great drumming and the vocals fit the style great too. An album you can just listen to the whole way through without having to skip tracks.. So go out and buy it!! Great work guys!

If you really want to see the state of British Metal today then look no further.

This is now the benchmark that all albums should be graded against. It has crystal clear product from Justin Hill and Dan Weller of SiKth, drums that will pummel you into submission and riffs the will render the flesh from your bones.

This album will stand its ground against anything the American's can do including Lamb Of God and Killswitc Engage.

If you like your riffs heavy and your drumming brutal, buy this record.

I saw Malefice two or three weeks ago supporting Devildriver on their tour.

I was so blown away I bought the album there and then, and it hasnt been away from my ears ever since.

Wonderfully crafted with imagination, power and finesse, Malefice will be very very VERY big in the very near future.

ive never had an album fire my imagination like this for a long long time...buy it now.

This is the first I've heard of this band and I will definitely be looking out for more. It doesn't need a dozen plays to get into, it's good from the word go.

Excellent album, well produced and most importantly heavy as hell!!

Absolutely well-ill-be-blown-down-by-a-force-12-bloody-fantastic.

The band supported the mighty Arch Enemy on the 17th in the minuscule confinements of the Camden Barfly - and they pulled it off like an old plaster. With a blinding sting! Brilliant live show, great atmosphere and naturally a really strong audience communication drive to boot.

This one I recommend strongly, a must!!
