I couldn't find these in the local toy shop and have been buying starter kits for over the odds to keep my niece supplied.

These are more or less identical to the Bindeez and provide a subtle range of extra colours.

One thing that ticked me off was that if you look at the box pictured you think you're getting far more than you actually are. The visible clear plastic area shows what you'll be getting while the area around it is superfluous packaging.

I think these are a great toy if your kids have the patience to set them straight and let them dry off adequately.

The alternative is the Hama bead sets which need adult supervision to use a steam iron to bind the beads together. Ultimately the Hama beads can be put together quicker and feel more solid but obviously you can't let your kids use a steam iron unsupervised. They're also smaller but a fraction of the price.

This is just a refill pack: you need to buy the Aqua Beads Deluxe set, too to be able to use these. I haven't done so yet so Xmas has just got a bit more expensive. There's a big warning on the back of the pack saying that the beads can't be used on their own, but not in the product description here. I hope they are worth it.

I bought these aqua beads as a refill for our already excisting sets and was very surprised to find a few beads being the wrong size so, when sprayed with water, won't really stick together. Now for the packaging you would think the whole of the box is full of little compartments of beads, wrong! You get exactly what you see through that little window and the rest is empty packging. So I don't really think you get what you pay for. Quite dissapointed.

rubbish and didn't had the plastic base missing in the box so its been thrown away without any use.

These were bought for my niece and she is over the moon with the product and it gives her many hours of fun and enjoyjment.

really good set of refills aqua beads are great fun on a wet day. My kids love making stars, animal shapes, anything pretty and rainbow coloured. Good set of colours here too and loads of beads for your buck. If your child hasn't discovered these it's a great gift. Ideal for age 4 + but my 3 yr old can do it supervised.

My daughter loved aqua beads, and I bought her this set as a refill for her original present. She loved the many coloured beads but was disappointed there were no white ones.

Bought this set for my 5 year old daughter, she loves Aquabeads and already has the starter kit, was looking for a refil pack and was really pleased to find this set. Unfortunately it was not stated on the product description that you have to already own the Aquabeads Deluxe set. Some of the templates do not fit our holder. I will have to buy yet another set for her for Christmas, as not being able to create some designs will be a great disapointment.

A great bargain and the beads has lasted us for ages since we purchased it. There is also a real choice of different coloured beads in the pack.
