Well, I have had problems with armpit odour for years. If I don't apply deodorant within ten mins of showering, I am in 'stink' trouble and even then with certain types of clothes - I suffered with stinky pits - bear with me...
Well, I read the reviews of this product and that was enough to place my order. It arrived within a few days and I first tried it tonight. I washed the dreaded armpits & applied the stick to them while they were wet. I wasn't sure if I was 'allowed' to dry them so I let them dry naturally. I then put on a jumper (one which caused me problems in the past, even with copious amounts of deodorant) and went out for the evening. That was at six O'clock. I sit here now, 5+ hours later and my PITS smell of just skin (fresh washed skin)I even got my kids to 'sniff my pits' and even with looks of disgust they agreed that they were just fine haha! To summarise - I am over the moon. Please try this - I have had such embarrassing armpits problems but this really works.

PitRok push up deodorant is amazing. You simply wet your underarm or apply after showering when your underarm is still wet and there you go - odourless all day even if you do heavy manual work. It works better than any other deodorant I have ever used and also it has no annoying scent and no stickyness. It is basically a contoured smooth crystal of which a small amount dissolves on contact with a wet underarm. If more people knew about this product then the would use nothing else. Another thing is that it lasts for absolutely ages. I bought mine months ago and it is only half used. This product really is a revolution and I have nothing to do with the company that makes the product I assure you. The only issue I have with the product is the way it is advertised:

What is should really say is what is does contain which is a solid lump of ammonium alum. This is in fact a salt containing a form of aluminium. No I don't believe that there have been any studies showing any issue with using this form of aluminium salt as a topical deodorant(otherwise I wouldn't use it) but trying to imply that it is some kind of natural crystal is a bit misleaing in my view. But in summary a brilliant and revolutionary product that once tried you will never use anything else. Also the fact that it lasts so long makes it cheap too!

We purchased this crystal deodorant for our son in his 20s, he has always suffered from rashes caused by other products. We were not sure if crystal deodorants worked and thought we would take the risk on buying one in a last ditch attempt to solve the problem. Well it really works, No rash anymore, F A N T A S T I C.

What an amazingly effective product! 24-hr completely odourless protection every day, summer and winter. No problems with skin sensitivity. May seem expensive but I've been using the same stick every day for the past 14 months and it looks as if it could easily last for at least another 6 months!

This doesn't stop sweat but it stops the smell. An excellent product, you have to use it after shower and put it on immediately. It doesn't work if you don't have wet armpits.

If you currently use deodorants then stop using them. Seriously. Blocking your pores is bad, bad, bad. Your body NEEDS to sweat to regulate properly. It's not a bad thing. The only bad thing that we perceive in society is the smell. Well, this is where this little gem comes in.

I have been using this same PitRok for 12 months. That's right, the same one! It lasts that long. And it's still going strong.

This won't stop you from sweating (which is a good thing) but it will stop you from having BO. And it works perfectly provided you apply it properly.

I can't sing its praises enough. Just buy it, learn how to use it (dry yourself after a shower, run this under the tap to wet it, and apply) and save both your health and your pocket.

Purchased to try as alternative to spray-on version of the deodorant. Used the item on few occasions. From what could tell, seemed to serve it's purpose as a deodorant. However, quickly grew tired of the method of application.

Product consists of a single, large, solid deodorizing "crystal". To apply, rub on wet under-arms after washing.

Found myself feeling anxious to return to my room immediately after showering in order to apply the deodorant. Even the wettest of 'pits would still experience a considerable amount of friction upon application of the deodorant crystal. Never quite satisfied of adequate application.

Have returned to using spray-on version.

This stuff is fantastic. I bought it for my husband who is always worried about smelling and couldn't find anything that did the job satisfactorily. This does! On the day he first used it he spent most of it in a hot loft installing cabelling and then went and played football - he still didn't smell! I now use it too! He uses the solid version and I use the spray. The spray works fantastically on smelly feet too! Brilliant stuff and it lasts and lasts. Have told everyone I know about it and many of them now agree.

Having tried many different deodorants over many years hardly any of them really worked effectively, as they tended to mask BO for only part of the day emitting a stale stench later on. Pitrok crystal deodarant is odourless, so there is no BO smell to mask, so it has to work by preventing BO arising in the first place. Although it's best to apply it either just after taking a bath or shower, it can be used perfectly well if you haven't taken either that day.

Two important points to bear in mind with this product. Firstly, you need to wash your armpits thoroughly with soap and water every time. Sounds obvious but Pitrok doesn't kill the bacteria that cause BO. It simply prevents them from multiplying, so you need to remove as many of those tiny microbes from your pits as you can to start with. That's done easily in a shower. Secondly Pitrok needs to be applied while your armpits are still damp or wet, so do not dry them off with a towel. Apply by gliding the stick up and down your armpits then go across and it's job done. It's better to let your pits dry off naturally rather than use a towel afterwards or you'll probably remove what you've just applied. Use a hairdryer fan if you want to dry your pits quickly. If you haven't had a shower, just wash your armpits first over a basin then apply Pitrok.

It may all sound a bit of a chore compared to an easier and more conventional roll-on type of deodorant or spray, except this product works very effectively and lasts much longer, in my case protecting me for up to 3 days (no exaggeration), and I often perspire heavily in summer. You will still perspire away as normal but there is no stale perfume odour or musk found with coventional deodorants, and no hint of BO, as long as you applied Pitrok correctly. It's well worth the little extra effort, and the product lasts for ages. I'm well into my second year with my original purchase of Pitrok Crystal deodorant. Highly recommended.

This deodorant is really effective & totally non irritating or smelly. I swear by it. Problem is I cannot buy online as it always arrives damaged.
