This looked a very useful thing to have when your cat wees over the edge of a standard litter tray, as ours does sometimes. I'm sure it would have solved our problem had our elderly cat been willing to use it. Unfortunately she refused to go into it. We gave ours to Cats Protection via our vet and believe it is now being used. We suggest using a large cardboard box in which to put an open litter tray first to discover whether or not your cat is put off by the tray bring covered. The Bill 1S is nicely made and very easy to assemble, it's just a matter of pushing the clips and the and the handle into the holes provided.

I was very impressed. The tray is nice and deep and the hood is high enough to allow cats (I have 7) to get in and out freely. there does not appear to be a problem with the catches, but having read the other reviews I am very careful with them.

Good job - stops cat litter from going all over the place. However, clips hard to open/close. We don't bother locking into place - just set hood on and it does the job fine.

Tray is a good size and very deep but is let down by poor quality of clips which hold lid to base.

This prevents the cat from scooping the litter all over the floor. It is roomy and nice and deep. Easy to clean. The plastic clips are rather tricky to fix on and I think they will break before too long as they seem a bit cheap. Would prefer to pay a ltttle more for something with better clips but not much else on the market!

Similar items double the price on the High Street have paid half the price just for a basic tray before. A bit fiddly fitting the clips/handle but top/bottom a good fit, good size entrance, fits our Maine Coon. Looks neat and with the high back on the base unit should do the job!!!!

Very good item, large space inside; only fault I would say is it doesnt have a cat flap door and one of the 4 clips snapped first time i used it, hence 4 stars.

I have had one of these for several years and found it to be great. I agree with other reviewers, the clips are flimsy and did break but it didnt affect the use of the box. We have a papillion that only chases our cat when she is at her most vulnerable....in her litter tray mid wee and this gave her security. It also stopped our puppy using the cat tray as a snack box! After a couple of years of use I am replacing it and Im more than happy to buy the same product.

I bought this for my 9 year old cat, I thought he would be a little apprehensive at first with it having a lid, but he went straight in, great value for money.
