I got this DVD for Christmas after seeing it on TV. 2 years on and it STILL makes me howl with laughter, even though I know most of the jokes off by heart. All Alan's sound effects (the shredder) and facial expressions make it so much more than a guy just standing there telling jokes.
I have yet to find a person who doesn't find this funny; definitely the best stand up DVD I've ever seen.
In short; a must-buy!!

I really enjoyed the DVD, although there were quite a lot of "F" words which were totally unnessary.
The sound through out the DVD varied a lot and I had to keep adjusting the volume.
Alan Carr is his usual brilliant self.

This is Alan Carr's first stand up DVD and it is a riot. It's mostly observational and anecdotal, but his stories are original, witty and well delivered.
It is generally suitable for everyone, it has a bit of an edge, a few rude bits but is pretty inoffensive.
It's easy to watch and Alan comes across as really likeable. It's consistently laugh out loud funny and his characters are identifiable and realistic.
If you like Alan on the Friday Night Project you will love it. I would definitely recommend it and unless you are likely to find his shiny campness annoying, I'm sure your belly will hurt from laughing!!

I watched this when it was first aired a couple of years ago and loved it then, although I didnt understand all of the jokes as I was a little young. Id wanted to find it on dvd without paying a high price as it had just come out and only recently years later I found it for £2.50 secondhand in a branch of CEX. I stuck it on and could not stop laughing. His material is made funny by his effortless performance, he is just so camp, everything he says is comedy gold. Love it!

This DVD only cost me about five pounds and it was worth every penny.I have watched it multiple times and my daughters and I never get tired of it.Hubby is not as keen, he prefers Frankie Boyle.I,m not sure if Granny would approve when sober but mine seemed to enjoy it when she was sozzled last week. What could you buy this Christmas for so little money, give it a try,you won,t be disappointed. If you read this Alan, can I have a couple of tickets for your next live show!

.... very funny indeed!

Watched it twice so far. Giggled constantly on both occasions.

Well worth the money.

Laugh, we thought our sides would split. A very clever series of hilarious observations taken mostly from alan carr experiences but told with such wit that you can't help but relate to if not all then some of his stories. Also some very funny one liners. Alan also involves the audience in a way that takes the mickey but isn't to their detriment. Stand up at its best.

I rented this dvd out and I must have watched it about ten times. Alan Carr's just one of those comedians who I never get tired of watching. It's not just what he says, but also the way he says it. He has so many fantastic accents, and his body language is hilarious. I'll br bringing it to every Christmas event and spreading the word about Alan!

I love Alan Carr! He is hilarious. Obviously, this is only suitable for people who aren't easily offended. I've have the audio of this set in my iPod, even without the visual humour it is stil brilliant. It winds away long journeys. A must have it you love laughing. 'Spexy Beast' is just as funny. I recommend both.

Borrowed this from a friend but I just had to have my own copy. It's non stop quality and I only hope Alan can make it to australia soon. If you love the Friday Night Project etc, this is even better!
You won't be disappointed if you purchase this DVD.
5 stars all round.
