Recommed this to all poker fanatics! I bought this as a present and have been considering buying one more for myself! Even though I own a travel case poker set.
This is a great set to have at home!

great poker set for the price!
a couple of problems, the tins is very weak, easy to dent, some of the chips are poorly printed but for what you're paying, its great cosidering how much is inside it

This is a budget poker set and the quality reflects that, you get all the things you need to play, but there is no finesse.
The two packs of cards included in this set are fine and you can play with them, but they are thin and flimsy and the second you use a decent set (like bicycle) you can really spot the difference.
The printing on the chips in this set is hit and miss, with some being perfect but others are smudged or have missing sections.
The baize in the set is very basic and the edges soon start to curl.
However having said all that it is a perfectly usable set, it won't make you feel like you are James Bond in a casino in St Tropez but you will be able to play poker ,Texas hold em and a whole range of other games and more importantly you will not have had to spend a fortune to be able to do so.

Bought this at what I thought was a bargin, badly printed chips (miss prints/smudges/blank chips), actual lumps of plastic on some chips preventing them from stacking right, plastic coated cards which are.... ok I guess. Also the image on the green sheet was printed wonkey, and miss-shaped. Im frustrated because I've just found one for £10.99 with nearly twice as many chips in a metal case! (sigh)

this is a cracking set for the price, ideal for occasional use, enough chips for 4 people to have a good session.there is even some strategy advice in the form of a booklet you get with, when your done just bung it all back in the tin and sling it under the bed till next time.

Contrary to other reviews my chips were printed fine, i was also surprised to find that there were 200 chips instead of 160 (which is stated in the description). cards aren't top quality but usable. good product, would buy again.

Bought this to host a couple of poker nights with a couple of mates. The chips are pretty decent quality, although possibly wouldn't make it into a Vegas casinos, and were more than adequate for our uses. There were a sufficient number of chips for six of us to play, and probably could have spread them further without much hassle.

There are also chips to allocate the small and large blinds, and a dealer chip. There are two decks of decent quality cards (play with one, shuffle the other), and a green felt cloth to play on... although I didn't bother using that. There's a manual for explaining how to play various games - it was okay, although understanding its examples of what the hands were which beat each other needed a little extra explaining to the novices in the group.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this item, and would recommend to any non-professional poker players. Worth the money in my opinion.

Looks alright and as a cheap set it is great for someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune but wants the right equipment.
The cards are a bit flimsy, but are cards and like all cards are what you need to play a million card games, the chips are not entirely perfect and some of the printing is missing or askew but it is quite cheap so is bound to be cheaply made and so looks it, however it is very useable and we have had many hours of fun using this set.

I am currently learning to play poker with my family, so this seemed to be the ideal poker set for me (cheap and cheerful, and right I was! I have read in some previous reviews that the chips are cheaply made and do not stack properly, but I have had no such issues, and whilst I am not experienced with poker; they seemed to be of decent quality.

All in all a good package, I would highly recommend :)
