I bought this to secure the bikes in my shed, it's reasonably easy to instal (if you have a good drill and bit).
I've seen it reviewed as one of the strongest and most secure ground anchors on the market, and I agree completely.

It is attached to the floor with 4 rawlbolts with allen key heads, these then have ball bearings installed in them to prevent them being undone and then plugs are hammered in to completely seal the whole thing.
There is room for 2 or 3 security chains or locks to fit through it.
When a good lock and chain is used with it I can't imagine how anyone could defeat this, just make sure you instal it where it will never need to be moved.

4.0 out of 5 stars strong ground anchor, 20 Jan 2014

This is a good strong ground anchor. I had some problems fitting the ground bolts as although I drilled the holes to the correct depth using the suggested 16mm drill bit the bolts did not drop into the floor. I would suggest that you drill using the next size up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Serious stuff, 13 Nov 2013

This is a pretty serious lump of metal. The lady at the post office seemed to think I had aggrieved her when I asked for my parcel. I now sleep soundly in my bed knowing my bike is chained to this.

Remember to buy an equally serious chain.

It's a brute that looks and feels well made but you can't comment on its efficiency until a thief attacks it.

fitting very easy. the bolts are easy to put in and once fixed to the wall you will have to take the wall down to get the bike away.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock Solid, 13 Feb 2014

Exactly as advertised!
Fitting can be challenge without a decent drill and masonry bits.
But once it's in, it's rock solid!

5.0 out of 5 stars A brute, 22 Feb 2010

A sturdey brute which will be joy to fix down. Still wonder where to place it as it is a good trip unit and moving it again will not be an easy task - the whole point I suppose. Think carefully if you do need one before you buy.
