Really is a great flask.

Very simple to operate, just a screw top to undo / reseal and a simple button press to get any liquid out of it. Its design does look as good as the images shown, and feels good to hold in my hands.

The only downside with it is that it works TOO well! Almost burnt myself after taking a sip from it 2 hours after making the tea. Learnt that you really need to let it cool down once you are wanting to drink from it - e.g. take the top off for 10 seconds. It really is amazing how it manages to keep things so warm for so long. Also its not warm at all on the outside, well a slight warmth at the top of the metal part where it joins the lid, which explains why it stays warm for so long as it doesn't let much of the warmth escape.

Even with the relatively high cost I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.

Bought it for my partner who travels a lot in his job. It does exactly what it says. Its non spill , easy to drink from ,easy to clean and keeps drinks hot for hours. On short journeys I have to make sure that the coffee is at drinking temperature when I put the lid on otherwise as it is such an effective insulator it remains too hot to drink for the first 1-2 hours.
Its so good I'm getting one for myself...also fab colour.

I love reading in bed and drinking tea. But as you can imagine, it can be very messy, if I m not very careful... It is 100% leakproof! It keeps all the beverages warm for hours.... You should follow the instructions to the letter tho! When you put your tea or coffee inside of it, it is too warm, do not close it for at least 5-10 mins.. after you close it well, press the button to release some of the steam.. it always makes a small noise. IF there is no noise it means that you havent closed it well and you will have leaks..
It keeps my tea warmish for around 6-7 hours..

The flask is great. The coffee remains hot. The coffee does not spill.
But try washing it....The problem is with the design of the spout.
The place where you sip the coffee from is impossible to clean. Ive tried everything...Bits of tightly rolled cloth, sponge, wet paper...but nothing works.
To start with there is tendency for the coffee to collect on the spout and you have to really slurp the last bits of coffee so that it does not spill on you. Because the coffee collects on the spout it tends to dry out and forms gunk (not a technical word) around it. This is difficult if not impossible to clean despite the trials above.
Things become better in a few months time whenit becomes so crusty with coffee residue that you can scrape it off with a pen or your nails.
Till then try not to think too much about it.

Really pleased with this for the price (£20). Used it for a couple of weeks now for work with cafetiere coffee. I have tried cheaper items but have been disappointed. Does not keep liquid 'hot for hours' though, for maybe two. Apologies if this is pedantic.

Not a bad cup, not too easy to clean inside the lid tho.

Second Contigo cup i have purchased. The first had a flap in the lid that gives access for cleaning. But this one didnt making more difficult nigh impossible to completely clean in my opinion.

I still use the first cup which is great, both cups are usually filled with boiling kettle water around 5:30am and are just about drinking temperature by 9:30am. Great buy, just slight differences in lids making it not get 5*

No spills! I shake my cup to mix my tea quite violently and it hasn't spilt or leaked a single drop up to now.

It is so difficult to find a leakproof cup that can also keep its contents hot. It seems most cups can either do one or the other, but few can do both. Because I want to be able to drink coffee while driving, a travel mug or thermos with a screw off cap and separate cup are not an option - I need something that I can drink straight out of but that does not spill everywhere if it falls over or when I put it in my bag. I read the impressive reviews about this one but was hesitant to spend over £20 on a travel mug. I've had this a little over a month now and can say that I'm thrilled with it and feel it is by far the best travel mug I have ever owned. It is absolutely leakproof, and keeps my coffee hot for a long time. Do let your drink cool to the temperature that you want to drink it before securing the lid, otherwise this cup will keep it so hot that you may burn your tongue! The colour is beautiful and the stainless steel body means that I am not so concerned about toxins from plastics leaching into my drinks. Yes, the lid is plastic/silicone but I'm not sure there is another material that could have been used for the lid of this type of cup. The build quality is very good and I expect this travel mug will last for many years as opposed to others I've had which either leaked and/or didn't retain heat AND all of which were either not fit for purpose in the first place, or broke far sooner than I would have expected, which justifies its price tag.

Having decided to try and save money by making my own morning coffee for the train journey into work I decided upon the Contigo tumbler as my preferred coffee carriage. I must admit I am very impressed so far, even though I wasn't sure whether I wanted a cup with a handle I'm glad I opted for this style as it easy to carry in a coat pocket or my work bag. The non-spill claim seems to ring true so far, I haven't had any problems with leaks or spills.

You do have to be careful for the first few sips though if you have a hot drink as I've burnt my lips a couple of times, which I suppose is a good sign that it keeps drinks hot for quite a while. I can get virtually to work (1.5hr train journey) and the coffee is still warm by the time I take the last gulp.

In terms of cleaning I find that a quick wash in the sink and rinse does the trick and I haven't encountered any strange after-tastes. I've not tried cold drinks yet so can't comment on how it keeps drinks cool.

Delivery was prompt and within the advertised time period. I would recommend this product if you are looking for the same sort of usage.

I originally bought this for myself having had too many accidents with cups going walk about in my cab and tea going everywhere. My OH decided he'd try it out liked it so much that I had to buy another.

It keeps your drink hot for at least two hours and that is hot not warm. It will keep warm anything up to 6 hours +.

The only thing to watch out for is don't put the cup to your face before pressing the release button as you will get a misting of very hot drink otherwise.

Only downside is not being able to clean the lid properly because fo the open/close design. We are both big tea drinkers and the tannin build up can be quite impressive after a weeks constant use. I have found that making up a solution of an 'Oxy' type cleaner in the cup, pouring some in the lid and leaving it overnight or at least a few hours does the trick. It's scary what comes out!

Buy one, you won't be disappointed!

I have tried SO many travel mugs. This is the ONLY one I have found that genuinely DOES NOT spill. I get it filled at my favourite coffee place and chuck it in my work bag. Alongside important paperwork and computer equipment. I am so convinced it won't spill a drip. Only thing I have to watch out for is that the coffee stays REALLY hot for quite a while so I do a tentative sip to make sure I'm not going to burn my mouth! I can happily sip on the hot coffee 2 hours later and it's still lovely. I've even put frozen smoothies in this and it keeps it frozen for ages. I LOVE this mug so much I've been buying them as gifts for friends. Forget all those promises of non-spill from previous mugs & kids cups. This is the genuine non-spill article! I'm hooked. Contigo for life! :)
