5.0 out of 5 stars Superb plectrums
The quality of these pics is great, you get 6 that are all colour coded based upon the thickness of the plectrums.

Thicknesses range from 1.25mm to 0.5mm.

I use the .88 and it's perfect, easy upstrokes and bright tones.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful experience
Advertised as 6 picks one of each gauge, but sent 3 of one gauge, 2 of another and one totally different pick. When first contacted, the seller said he would send me the missing gauges but they never arrived and the seller did not respond to my following emails. I would not recommend buying from this seller to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff, 27 Jun 2009
This review is from: 6 Tortex
I'm not used to playing with picks, so was a bit unsure about getting these.
These picks score high for me. On grip, I did not have any problem alternating between plucking and strumming with fingers, and using these picks. On sound, they really do a good job.
As other buyers have mentioned, you can decide which ones are your favorite weight.
Based on experience, this item seems to be prone to delays, but the seller is very responsive, and gets back real quick on email.
Well recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's simple. Buy these., 2 May 2009
This review is from: 6 Tortex
I don't like nylon picks, which means these are perfect. I'm not sensitive or talented enough to use wafer-thin plectrums (plectra?) so these fellas do the job just fine.

But as they're all different gauges, once you find the gauge for you, you'll then need to buy a load of Jim Dunlop picks of that gauge. No-one guitarist can get by on just one pick. It'd drive you mad.

I'm no pro-guitar player but these were an excellent range of picks for my novice needs. Different thicknesses, so you can choose the thickness that best suits you. And my girlfriend likes the pretty colours.

5.0 out of 5 stars 6x DUNLOP TORTEX ASSORTED PICKS, 11 July 2011

6x DUNLOP TORTEX ASSORTED PICKS, BOUGHT FROM MUSIC GENERATIONS, CHEAPEST I COULD FIND ANYWHERE! £1.95 WITH FREE P&P.
EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.
THE PICKS ARE COLOUR CODED AND COME IN 6 SIZES (GAUGES) IDEAL IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT THICKNESSES!

RED .50
ORANGE .60
YELLOW .73
GREEN .88
BLUE 1.0
PURPLE 1.14

THE MAIN THING THAT IMPRESSED ME WITH THESE PICKS IS THE MATERIAL WHICH THEY ARE MADE FROM, THEY FEEL FANTASTIC, AND THE GREAT THING IS THE GRIP! EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE SMOOTH THE GRIP IS EXCELLENT, WHEN YOUR HAND SWEATS THE MATERIAL SEEMS TO ABSORB IT FROM YOUR FINGERS AND MAINTAINS MAXIMUM GRIP. I WAS USING THE PLASTIC JIM DUNLOP RIFFS PICKS ORANGE .60MM, BUT WITH THEM BEING PLASTIC OR NYLON WHATEVER AS SOON AS YOU GOT A BIT OF MOISTURE BETWEEN YOUR FINGERS THEY TEND TO SLIDE ABOUT INBETWEEN YOUR FINGER AND THUMB, WHICH IS NOT IDEAL, HAVING TO CONSTANTLY WIPE THEM ON YOUR TROUSER LEGS BETWEEN RIFFING ETC!
BUT NOT THESE TORTEX, I'M NOT SURE EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE MADE FROM BUT IT IS A FANTASTIC MATERIAL FOR PICKS!
I HAVE USED JAZZ III MAX GRIP STUBBY'S PLASTIC NYLON EVERY PICK YOU CAN IMAGINE IN ALL GAUGES, AND HAVE NEVER BEEN REALLY HAPPY WITH THEM, I DID HAVE A FEW FAVORITES INCLUDING THE DUNLOP RIFFS PICKS, BUT I'VE DECIDED TO BIN THE LOT, BECAUSE NONE COMPARE TO THESE TORTEX PICKS FOR FEEL AND GRIP AND TONE!
THIS IS PROBABLY WHY MOST PROFESSIONALS USE THEM, INCLUDING MY HERO "TONI IOMMI" HE APPARENTLY USES THE PITCH BLACK TORTEX PICKS .50MM WHICH YOU MAY THINK IS THIN FOR PLAYING FAST LEAD, BUT REMEMBER TONI USES VERY LIGHT CUSTOM MADE STRINGS ALSO TUNED DOWN USUALLY C#.
PERSONALLY I THINK I LIKE THE .60MM ORANGE NOT TO THICK FOR CHORDS BUT STILL RIGID ENOUGH FOR FAST LEAD!
HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND TO TRY THESE PICKS, YOU WON'T REGRET IT THERE GREAT!!!!!
ONCE YOU FIND YOUR IDEAL GUAGE YOU CAN SHOP AROUND FOR A BUNDLE OF YOUR FAVOURED CHOICE, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M GONNA DO!

4.0 out of 5 stars 6 different sizes, 3 Jan 2011
This review is from: 6 Tortex
This is a good product at a good price, if you don't care what size pick you use. Nice tactile material which is easy to grip and not slippy. Loses a star as the ink comes off on your fingers...

As a beginner guitarist, this is a good pack for me as it lets me try out picks of different gauges. You get 6 different sizes, from 0.5 - 1.14mm in the pack.

It is also good for people who don't care what size pick they play with, or who use different sizes for different things.

If you like to play using only 1 size pick for everything, then avoid this pack and see if you can find a pack of 6 of the gauge you need.

Good quality plectrums. The variety of plectrum weight is good, and this offers a range of tones while playing. Overall, a good product.

5.0 out of 5 stars SIMPLY BRILLIANT!, 7 Oct 2009

This review is from: 6 Tortex
I got these plectrums for a tour I was doing with my band about 6 months ago and I'm still using them today. They lasted me through 4 months of pure shredding, where as most other bands I was touring with had to buy new ones all the time lol (I actually gave a plectrum to my fellow band mate because he hated his lol) I mean what more can you ask for in a plectrum lol

So all in all I would give these plectrums a 5/5. Always buy Dunlop plectrums they are the best (Well they have been for me =P )

Take It Easy & ROCK ON BROTHERS! \m/

5.0 out of 5 stars a good mixed set., 13 Feb 2012
This review is from: 6 Tortex
Being new to playing the guitar I didn't know that there were varying sets of plecs. however when these arrived I had a great deal of fun practicing with each of them and getting used to them, to the point where I have started to wear the writing off them. A great product.
