5.0 out of 5 stars My Father is in this film.
So pleased to have found this historical DVD. A real tribute to all those brave submariners. The part my dad played was the Captains right hand man, but in real life he was the cook. They even had soya sausages back then! This DVD will be passed onto our grandaughter to keep for prosperity.
Thankyou to Jack Lee for making this possible.

Unfortunately this war time documentary movie has been transferred from a faulty telecine master or process. This results in the DVD having several deep audio dropouts where the sound completely disappears plus similar video flashes and disturbances. A very poor transfer job which may only apply to the version shipped with optional Dutch titles. I tested 2 separate copies and returned them both to a most helpful supplier who needs to take remedial action with the film distributor/duplicator.
