Not bad for the price.,

This review is from: Hama - LCD TV Tilt And Swivel Wall Bracket -10" to 32" or up to 20kg (Accessory)
This is fine for a budget wall-mounting. It tilts and turns the TV to get the best viewing position and is discretely hidden behind the set. On the minus side, the assembly instructions are poor - thank God for my engineer brother-in-law, and, more worryingly, the part of the arm that connects to the TV and takes the immediate weight is made of plastic! This is a definite weak spot and although it is doing the trick now, I can't see it lasting for long. You get what you pay for I guess!

Instructions are very poor, may as well not have any at all.Had to cut and rearrange plastic covering for it to be able to fit properly. It's up on the wall, but not impressed with overall appearance, it'll be up until a replacement is bought.

Ugly, bulky, awkward to assemble,

Having bought a different LCD TV wall bracket from Amazon not long ago - which is now discontinued - I went for this one and was very disappointed.Problems: 1) Awkward to assemble - the instructions were poor but I could easily work out what went where, even so it was clunky and unnecessarily difficult 2) Bulky - when you put it on the wall with the TV on and retract it completely, the bracket still sits out about 3-4" from the wall which means the front of your TV will probably be about 6" from the wall. Probably ok for some situations but I needed to be able to put the TV almost flush against the wall when not in use. 3) Ugly - I know you don't usually see these things once a TV's in front of them but the wall bracket cover is made of nasty looking silver-effect plastic and so is the part connecting the main arm to the TV bracket, which is slightly more concerning. Also the arms themselves are big and chunky with big bolt heads sticking out. Having said all that I'm certain it would do its main job perfectly well - i.e. supporting an LCD TV on a wall and letting you swivel/tilt/adjust its position, but it wasn't right for me. I returned it for a refund (thanks Amazon) and bought this one instead: Swing & Tilt Corner Arm LCD TV Wall Mount bracket for 15" 17" 19" 20" 26" LCD TVs with standard VESA holes which is much better and thoroughly recommended.

Good enough for smaller TV's,

Does the job for the 17" TV I purchased it for. Allows smooth rotation through and beyond 180 degrees. Assembly instructions, both text and illustration, are very poor. Ability to successfully complete Krypton Factor puzzles would be a distinct advantage. I am pleased with the end result but would hesitate to place anything above about 21" on this bracket as one part of the supporting mechanism is only heavy duty plastic.

I am using this Hama bracket for a 32inch 18kg LCD TV and I think the bracket is very good for the price. The only drawback is that the tilt mechanism is plastic rather than metal so not so good if you wish to change the tilt frequently. Otherwise, provided the bracket doesn't distort over time I am pleased.

I bought this item as a budget option, but it works very well. Construction was hampered by poor instructions, but once assembled it does the job perfectly.

ordered this bracket three days ago, arrived yesterday, assembled and fitted today in thirty min, no problem. people have complained about this items instructions, wot do you need them for, just follow diagram that comes with the bracket, job done. Nylon part of this bracket is tested to take the given weight, just look under your car and see what this stuff supports. relax.....honest John.

Fairly good bracket. Marked it down to 3 Stars because the elbow joint is difficult to get just at the right tension, needing frequent adjustment and the plastic wall cover is not a great fit. Still beats similar products for price though.
