I waited several months before writing a review about this product to see how it performed on the door of my garden shed. In the last 3 months it has withstood every type of weather the UK could experience (except for sun and heat) and it still works well, shows no sign of rust anywhere nor stiffness in operation.

Downsides:
- When new (and for the first few weeks), the inner workings must be a bit stiff, as when you turn one dial, the others turn with it. This has got better after the first few weeks (used 3-4 times a week). Probably a bit of 3-in-1, or WD-40 would speed this up.

Plussides:
- Seems so much more sturdy than any of the other padlocks in the gym locker room (which is where I use mine). The body is made of a single piece of brass, so unlike the cheapy looking padlocks you can buy for a similar price that can be forced apart, this can't because it is a single piece of metal.

- Looks a lot more sturdy than other padlocks - if someone is going to force open a locker and has a choice of easy looking padlocks or a sturdy one, I know which one I would go for!

Overall, definitely worth the £10-£12 cost.

Good solid brass and steel build with 4 digit combination that is easily set and does not feel loose, unlike cheaper padlocks. I can recommend this product.

My last combination lock quite literally fell apart in my hands as I went to lock a locker in my local gym. So, I decided I wanted something a bit more robust. Oh boy! Is this more robust or what!!!! There's not a cat's chance in hell of this ever falling apart. Perfect!

This is an excellent padlock for my purposes. It's easy to set the combination and is easy to see when unlocking it. I use it for a gym locker and it seems to be very sturdy and secure for this. A lot more convenient than having to carry a key around too with the potential for loosing it! Highly recommended.

No problems. I use these locks outdoors so I put plenty of oil on at the beginning. I am sure they will survive the winter.

As the title states, it does its job in its entirety. When the code is applied, the padlock unlocks. If the correct code isn't supplied, the padlock won't open.

Changing the code is a simple procedure as well - it is very illustrated in the included instruction manual. The code can only be altered in the unlocked status, thereby removing the worry of potentially changing the lock code when in the locked mode.

Hasn't failed on me yet. Can only be a good thing?
