Most mirrors with bendable bars will move when the bike is in motion. This mirror is not only lightweight, but it doesn't shake when I am riding on roads. The mirror has a good size and the installation was quite simple: just cut the end of the plastic grip on the handle bar (left or right) with a small knife and screw the mirror end into the bar. The installation took less than 5 minutes. This an effective product, better than most other more expensive mirrors. However, I would have preferred not having to cut the bar end grip off if possible (which is why I gave it 4 stars).

For anybody who enjoys cycling, or is safety conscious, buying one of these mirrors is a very small price to pay, and it could save your life. It can help to improve safety, by reducing the need to turn and look behind you.
By seeing the traffic behind you, you can move across the road more confidently, rather than hoping the motorists will slow down and give you space.

Very pleased with this product overall, but would prefer a more sturdy fitment into the end of the handle bar (i.e. a longer insert). Good rear view vision although a little too dark.

The best bar end mirror bar none! Can be used on the right or left hand side, simple to fit and adjust, great off road too, I leave it quite loose so if you do drop your bike it will flex/turn so not breaking. I have had one for over 6 years and just bought another for my G friends bike. ;)

This is the mirror to go for. I did a lot of research as I do a lot of road miles. It's a good price and well made. It's a lightweight construction (ie, not very robust) and neatly folds out of the way when not in use. There is a lot of adjustment when fitted to the barend, and tightened with a screwdriver. With my setup, bar height/stem/frame, I do have to move my arm a little for a complete and full view, but isn't a problem. I ride a lot of dark county lanes morning and night, and car lights can be seen a long was behind. Good size large clear image as mirror is convex. No vibration (other than from the bike itself). Very good. Safety recommended.

Bought this because my old Catseye ended up on my wife's bike.(she swears by it). Excellent product, easy to fit and gives good steady wide view of the road behind. Really useful when approaching junctions. Does not jump about and bounce like other mirrors I have tried.

I've been riding for 30 odd years. A rear view helps you safely plan the road ahead and in my opinion is essential. This is the best end bar mirror I can find and have been using them for years. The simplistic design and quality of materials and build are it's strengths. It is feather light and there is no noticeable vibration in the view on any surface. This will only really suit fitting in the end of a straight bar - ie mountain bike style. You must expose the tube end which usually means removing the end of the hand grip. Pop it in the tube and tighten, it works rather like a rawplug by expanding inside and gripping, it takes seconds. The mirror fits the mount stiffly and in an upright position, but is not a rigid fix. This means that while it won't move in use it will accommodate the odd knock without snapping at the joint. I have a different mirror on a road bike as this mirror isn't suitable for a dropped bar. Although good, it vibrates, is a bit obtrusive and is easily beaten by this mirror.

A great little mirror, which does what you need it to (but is no substitute for a look over the shoulder). I was hesitant to cut the end off the handlebar grip on my new bike, but pleased I did as this adds an extra level of reassurance when cycling round London. And yes, it fits on a Brompton, and yes, you can still fold the cycle up (right hand side of the handlebars only).

for 25 years i've been ridding a bike on the roads without a mirror thinking they look a bit girly, but the roads are much busier now and the standard or driving much much lower nowadays, i've been knocked off my bike twice in the last 4 years and nearly killed numerious times over the last 10 years.A couple of weeks ago i was squashed to the kirb by a car on the aproach to a mini rounderbout for the 1000th time and i said to my self thats it im going to have to get a mirror. I got this one because its small and fairly inconspicuous and doesn't stick out past the handlebars, i have it mounted under the handlebars and it gives me perfect view of the road behind with no vibration at all, most of the time my hands are on the bar-ends so i have an unobstructed view of the mirror at all times. Took me a couple of rides to get used to it but i feel much much safer now i can see whats aproaching me at all times without having to rely on my ears and looking over my shoulder every few seconds
