Original Prestige spare and has fixed the failing seal, now as good as new again.
Went for "one click" ordering which was a mistake as packaging cost more than the spare won't do that again!

There is very little that can go wrong with a pressure cooker. Apart from the pressure control valve, the only things that could fail are the rubber seal between the lid and the body and the emergency pressure release valve - both of which are relatively low cost items (which the manufacturers suggest changing every year anyway). Bought this seal to replace one that was several years old which had started to harden and begin to leak (which meant that it took a long time to reach pressure). New seal instantly rejuvenated the pressure cooker and saved me having to spend £40+ on a new one.

There has been supplied two models of this Gasket in amazon with different packages and same specifications, I bought both of them to find out what's deference between them.this model can't be fitted on lead because it's too big and In my opinion it is not a standard spare part for aluminium prestige pressure cooker and I suggest every one buys another item with half red and white background as has been shown in prestige website as well.I definitely lost my 5 pounds on this item.

Unable to easily obtain the part in my usual retail outlets. Description and comments on web site assured that the part was correct for my cooker. The cost with postage was still cheaper than what I had paid for the part, in the shop, on previous occasions. It arrived within a couple of days and fitted perfectly. The part was accompanied by the manufacturer's instruction card, which give clear directions as to the advised renewal period for the gasket. My cooker is now working efficiently.

We have had our old Prestige pressure cooker for about 35 years. When the lid started to leak we had a look around at the latest pressure cookers and were very disappointed with the quality of them. I decided on having a look on line for a replacement gasket and am very pleased that I came across this company selling exactly what I ws looking for. The price was very reasonable including free delivery. It was with us in a couple of days and now our old pressure cooker is as good as new.

Gaskets are gaskets, expensive for a bit of rubber but less than a new pressure cooker so, very happy with purchase. Works very well -

So after discovering my 20+ year old pressure cooker's gasket was a shriveled wreck, and that this might explain the constant dripping from the lid, I thought I'd have to buy a new pressure cooker. "There's no way anyone would still be making gaskets for a unit this old", I thought. Well, I'm pleased to say I was wrong, and the replacement gasket arrived within 24 hours. Given how expensive decent pressure cookers are, it's saved me a not insignificant chunk of money.

I have had my pressure cooker for 48 years and when the seal finally went, thought it had seen its last cooking episode - however, found replacement seal on Amazon and off we went again. Have to say, the company that supplied it was also really good as I thought it had been lost in the post and contacted them and they were about to send a replacement at no cost to me when it turned up. Let them know as I felt was only fair and had lovely reply from them. Thanks

This gasket is a rubber gasket for an aluminium pressure cooker not an aluminium gasket as the des
cription infers. My experience with this gasket is that it came in a plastic bag and when removed from the aforesaid bag was fairly easy to fix in the lid of the pressure cooker in which position it afforded a steamproof seal when the pressure cooker was heated to boiling point (after some water was introduced into the pressure cooker)Hows that!

I use my prestige pressure cooker a great deal, I have owned this particular cooker for 25 years. I use it for softening seville oranges for making marmalade.
Therefore, I have to replace the gasket and other 'spares' frequently. Used to go to a local hardware store, but with these disappearing locally, it makes sense to order on-line. This was a competitive price with free p&p. Arrived very quickly. Great service.
