Bought for our 20 month old grandson who is really enjoying 'scribble drawing' at the moment. These are really chunky, so easy to hold and hard to break. This pack is far better value than anything we could get in the local shops, who only stocked the regular 'short pencil' sized crayons anyway. He loves them and his Grandma is also using them as a teaching aid, getting him to pick out colours by name, match colours to other things and so on. In just a month his scribbles have really progressed and colouring/drawing has fast become a favourite activity, with an end product he's able to give to his proud Mum and Dad. A great value 'toy' that we all enjoy playing with.

I recently bought some crayola crayons (the skinny type that are covered in paper) from the supermarket for my 3 kids that were around 3.50 for 12 and within a fortnight my youngest had snapped them all, peeled off all the sleeves and ripped the box. Not too much of a problem, but messy.
These are great, Im so glad I bought them, they are the fatter type with no sleeves that are much harder for a 2yr old to snap. The way they are presented in the box makes it really easy for the kids to spot which colour they're after and the box is really sturdy. They are multiples of the same colours but thats great for us as I will never have to hear 3 kids fighting for one red crayon ever again! The value couldn't be better you could easily spend much more on a few packs of 10/12 in the supermarket (or get the cheaper versions which I did once - they barely showed up on the paper), there are 144 in here - enough to last a very long time!
