Jack Savoretti has set the UK alight with his Debut Album 'Between The Minds' Deluxe. Not only a talented guitarist with a voice that sounds stunning but also lyrics and music that flows almost poetically. If there's a BRIT newcomer award then my vote goes to Savoretti. The CD's ooze quality, a blend of Bob Dylan, Tom Baxter, Damien Rice, Ray Lamontagne, Simon & Garfunkel, Nick Drake, Neil Young and James Blunt but better. Songs such as 'Dreamers', 'Dr.Frankenstein', 'Between The Minds', 'Chemical Courage', 'No One's Aware' and 'One Man Band' are simply fantastic, CD2 unplugged includes Live songs and a spine chilling brilliant version of Johnny Cash's 'Ring Of Fire'. To top it off a beautiful version of 'Between The Minds' with piano accompaniment. If you love ballads, songs with meaning, acoustic guitar, good quality songs, poetical stories and music at it's best then you'll love these CD's. I can't give 11/10 so it's 10/10 with STARS ON.

I love this C.D. I first heard the song Lovely Fool on a u-tube video and looked up the artist on Amazon. When I saw the album Between the Minds was available I ordered it. I am so glad I did,I love every song. The words of the songs are so thought provoking. My favourites are Lovely Fool, Killing Man,Dreamers and of cause Between the minds. but the whole album is great listening. Why have we not heard more of this man? I just listen to it all the time, it's fantastic.

It's hard to believe that Jack Savoretti is only 22 years old! His voice has a breathy, emotionally charged quality, reminiscent of Neil Diamond and his songs are finely crafted guitar or piano based numbers, full of delicate, tender lyrics and hauntingly beautiful melodies.

His songs are beautiful and I think this young man is going to be a very big name very soon!

If you like artists such as Damien Rice or Ray Lamontagne or enjoy tender, well-constructed melodic ballads, then Jack Savoretti is going to make you tingle!

Jack Savoretti is an up and coming artist that few will have heard of until now, 'Between The Minds' has to be one of the greatest Debut album releases let alone for 2007. Savoretti is only 22, yet has a voice that is unique, flashes of Bob Dylan when live with mouth organ and WOW, this kid can play guitar. Acoustically, I believe to be one of the greatest albums. A half decent follow-up album will take some doing but shall wait in anticipation. Melodic unforgettable songs such as 'No one's aware', 'Dreamers', 'Without', 'Dr.Frankenstein', 'Chemical Courage', 'Apologies' and the amazing 'Between The Minds' to name a few. Can't give 11 out of 10 so it's a 10/10 with stars on!

This album arrived today and it is all I have been playing. It is a fantastic album. Already addicted to Savoretti after hearing 'Dreamers', I absolutely love this album

Favourite songs on it so far are 'Dreamers' and 'Soldier's eyes'.

This is a fabulous acoustic album by a new (to me anyway) artist.

I was fortunate enough to see Jack this week at the Carling Apollo (Tues 13th March) supporting Corinne Bailey Rae, and he was mesmerizing.

One unassuming guy, with his guitar, obviously playing to a bigger crowd bigger than he is used to...he was excellent, played a number of moving songs from this album, with passion and spellbinding delivery. He was worth the admission price alone...made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up...and he got a great reception!!

If you've only heard "Dreamers" and "Without" as played on Radio 2 (yes, I am that old!!)then the rest of the songs are equally good - I agree with others - all tracks are great, no filler on here.

Anyone who likes Nick Drake, Tom McCrae, Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley or similar - buy this and you will not be disappointed!!

Note - Between the minds is an album, not a single as stated on Amazon.

I first saw and heard Jack on GMTV in early August and had the honour of seeing him live on August 23rd in a small room with around 200 people. He has such a wonderful unassuming and genuine presence and his music does make the hairs on your neck stand up. I felt that we were in the presence of a very special person who is destined for greatness. The tracks on the CD are all wonderful and there are many times when I find the lyrics just floating about in my mind. Of special note are "Dreamers", "Dr. Frankenstein" and "Without" but I feel I do the rest of the tracks a disservice by not mentioning them. One reviewer said his music comes from "the source" and I agree. Carlos Santana said that "music can change our molecular structure" and Jack's music definitely has that effect. The entire CD is amazing - buy it and you won't be sorry.

as impossible to miss the cliches as to fail to feel the beauty in this album. Captivating

Quite simply, the best album I have aquired in a long, long time. I went to see Jack performing live back in'07 on the strength of hearing 'Dreamers' and was blown away by his live performance. Bought the original version of the album then and the deluxe edition since. It is an absolute favourite with the whole family..wife, sons 24 & 17. Beautiful, well crafted songs that you won't tire of hearing. On a slightly negative note I was slightly disappointed with the 'live' album. Don't get me wrong it's good but not up there with the performances I've seen from Jack. Anyway, do yourself a favour and beg, borrow or steal this album and enjoy. Better still, go see him live.

I heard this album as album of the week on Radio 2 a couple of weeks ago and on the strength of two songs, I bought it. Wow! is all I can say, fabulous haunting lyrics and yes it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand as well. Beautiful album and I look forward to hearing more from Jack. He's set for big things.
