My 9 year old son is a really fan of card sets but these Yu-Gi-Oh cards are ones that he keeps coming back to. He spends hours playing with them and looking at them. He has tried to teach me but to be honest, I am not interested in them and don't really understand them; but boys seem to love them. I would recommend for boys aged 7-11. Keeps them entertained, communicating and thinking for several hours at a time. A great break from computer games, which seem to stifle communication of any kind.

This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh Machine Re-Volt Structure Deck (Toy)
Of all the yu-go-oh decks this one has to be my favorite. This deck is used by DR. Vellian Crowler in the yugioh GX series, and is nowhere as pathetic as its wielder. This deck is as strong in offence as it is in defense, containing not least a good level 4 beatstick (Mechanical Chaser) with 1850 attack, which rivals rivals all but the mighty vorse raider and sorts. The gadget monsters can summon each other to the hand, and gift reasonable effects to ancient gear beasts that are summoned using them as tributes. These cards are supported with excellent spell and traps which are worth a big mention. Pot of avarice is a better version to pot of greed, allowing the player to return five monster cards from the graveyard to the deck and then draw two. Rare metal morph powers up a monster by 500 and makes it immune to one spell card that targets it and covering fire allows you to take the attach of an ally monster on the field. Being full of earth monsters means adding gaia power and dark rat may make this one of the most complete decks available. Add cards such as machine king to gain additional bonuses from these machine cards and without spell or tarp cards to stand in your way the opponent is easy pickings.
