I make cards to a professional level and have had a couple of reasonable cutters before - this one is the best yet. Is heavy and stable on the cutting table - cuts card clean and effortlessly - I would recommend it.

I bought this trimmer based on one review.which 5 stars were given. I have used this trimmer and find it so precise and really does clean cuts when I am trimming my photos prior to them being fitted into the photo frame. Any photographer who needs an excellent trimmer to trim his or her photos will not go wrong in choosing this trimmer. I recommend this trimmer which can trim up to A3+ photographic paper

I've used half a dozen guillotines over the last 10 years, from £20 to £150, but this is by far the best. The others all had weaknesses, keeping the paper straight, rough edges, hard to operate, etc, but I can't fault the Dahle. I regularly cut 230g card and it consistently returns clean, straight edges, with no need for three hands or excessive strength. A+ all round.

I searched for a good trimmer for long time, and I finally have it.
Is big, but it can be mounted on a wall if you want to do so, the precision and clear cut is superb, is all I need it to do!

I could not afforded at £100... something, but at this price I do not regret buying it.

Totally recommended if you have the space!

Have used this trimmer over last few weeks, bought to accurately trim large SRA2 sheets into "extended A3" size. Appears well made and solid. Accurately cut approx 10 sheets at a time leaving a professional square edge. Board is marked with common paper sizes and good adjustable square edges. Happy!

Cuts clean, unlike other trimmers that give a bumpy curve edge. More papers at one go too. Unfortunately someone at the office went backwards, and the plastic rule got a line cutting on its surface - ho hum, wish I was there to witness to know how that happened! We have this mounted now on the wall for storage when not in use.

Dahle confirms to replace the blade you'll have to purchase the whole head.

This costs about 4 times more expensive than our previous trimmer, so I really hope it lasts well into several years.

It is expensive - and large - and quite heavy - but it feels a professional piece of kit and cuts very well.

Excellent device, especially since we obtained one with slightly damaged box at reduced price (about a third!). At the full price, £80 plus, we might have pondered a bit. The UK stockist price is over £100.

I have struggled with cheap trimmers for years, this one is a joy to use.
Accurate clear markings with smooth action.
Delivery very quick indeed.
One small fault. One of the retaining magnets is loose but it only requires a dab of glue, it is a feature that I most likely will not need anyway.

Fantastic I work every day with the cutter and it's so much easier than my old one. It smooth running and feels so pricise when citting.
