With the up coming TMNT film and being old enough to remember the first game and download it from xbox marketplace, I thought hey get the new game! And I must say for the main part wasn't dissapointed. Graphically it does the job runs very smoothly and plays well, being made by the same people of prince of persia fame it plays very similarly. My only dissapointment was the lack of online or co-op play and difficulty level, you may say that with the latter that this is essentially a kids game, and therefore difficulty is aimed at them-Point taken! (and as such difficulty is about right). The use of "tag" moves works well but would have been a lot better co-op.For the average gamer it will take about 6-7 hrs to complete the main game but then there are time challenges etc to complete, although once the main game has been completed all gamer points have been received and so leaves little point to completing them!

overall an enjoyable and fun game but may be a rent rather than purchase title.

TMNT is above average. No doubt about it. It has quality.

It's artistic approach is very stylish. It manages to deliver a cartoon feel without, ever, beeing cheap.

Gameplay is perfect for kids, as it's not a "dumb" game like some kids games, wich sometimes, spawns.

It's never violent, even in the fighting sequences it doesn't ever offers any kind of aggression, it feels safe to let your yougest enjoy the experience, and it's never a "no-brainer" experience, allthough it's never a frustrating one, if in the platform seqences, where one can fall, it's also never too anoying as there are save points a-plenty.

Sound-wise, it's envolving, and sets the mood for some mild tension. It also delivers some clever humorous lines, all in the "over-bragging way" that that turtles are known for.

The only down side is the inability to controll the camera and the lack of off-line co-op wich would be brilliant for a father-son session, but it's still a very good piece of software to spend some moments with your kid.

A solid game, no doubt about it.

Like the title says.
I have always been a TMNT fan even at the age of 27 lol.
Good game, repetitive fighting (kids love that tho), fun level's. But you can't really die because you always get revived so when your fighting a boss you can just bash them as you will never die.
Buy it for your kids, they'll love it.

To go with the TMNT movie release Ubisoft have made an excellent game that is aimed at kids but a lot of fun for adults too. As an adult who remembers the original TMNT back in the old days, I had to reminisce with this game and for the most part i wasn't disappointed. I knew from previous reviews that it was aimed at kids but i found it a lot of fun still.

If you're not in the teens then the likelihood is that you'll finish it in a weekend, but it'll be fun. The gameplay is very easy and you initially take the role of each turtle in turn, with the story line of each turtle interweaving. controls are very easy to pick up and there are no difficulty settings. It's designed to be fairly easy and fun. As you play, you collect coins for points and at the end of levels if you have enough coins you can select to 'buy' extras - for example have huge heads, weekend weapons (i won't spoil this as it's really funny to see)etc. You can replay any level once you complete it to try to beat your best time.

it was also really funny to be able to play one of the turtles as a baby!!

Each turtle has a speciality move that can be executed. About half way through the game, you can start doing tag moves where you play one character and you can tag one of the other turtles in for a combined attack.

All in all a very fun game to play but also very short lived. Not one i'd buy unless you have a kid who will want to take their time playing through. i'd rent it. Also a little disappointed there was no online play with others in someway, but i guess understandable.

Most boring game I've ever played easy for achievements, awful platforming, repetitive combat, mediocre story, and awful voice acting, played this for 6 and half hours and I got a migraine from the turtles saying the same things everything five seconds or so. The game only becomes good at the end where two of the most redeemable cutscenes are ripped straight from the movie. Truly good awful, and for a returning turtle fan such as myself not worth buying stay to the cartoon or the newer titles

Typical game created from a movie. Nice to look at, but not an outstanding piece of work. The fighting elements are neat they remind me of classics like double dragon and streets of rage. The storyline is kidified and can really get on your nerves. There is enough to keep a kid occupied for a long time, but an experienced game player will soon get bored of it. However, if you want to judge it purely on its genre of 'fight em up',then I suppose, it is not a bad game at all, just simple and too 'sweet'. An expression that comes to my mind is nice but dim.

I had to get this game. As a youngster I was a massive fan and felt this had to be in my collection. If you're looking for a challenging game this is not for you. This game is for kids as its pretty easy to get through, if you're into gamerscore too this is a great game as a 1000gs can be achieved in maybe one playthrough! I love the fact that each character has there own special moves, I love Splinter, I just love the TMNT. I had low expectations for the game but it was just your standard computer game. I found the gameplay easy and the graphics are as good as you can expect. Overall I'd say this is a GREAT game for the kids, a GREAT game for Gamerscore, but I won't be playing it again soon. In my humble opinion it is a classic that had to be in my collection, along with Xmen, Ironman, King Kong and The Hulk.

Not a bad game, one to be left for the kids maybe, but this has got to be the easist 1000 points on the 360 to date. 5/6 hours of easy gaming to rack up your gamerscore!
