4.0 out of 5 stars Shakespeare made easy
As a teacher I have found this invaluable in explaining Shakespeare's stories to 10 year olds. They can learn whilst enjoying the animated version of the play.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for kids
I use this with my Year 7 classes to get the whole story over to them in under a lesson. It works well although the animation is very poor but that is reflected in the price.

I bought this for my daughter who is a teacher (but played it myself first). She uses it as an introduction to Shakespeare for one of her classes. This is certainly not on par with going to see the plays at Stratford but if you are going to see one of the plays and are not entirely familiar with the plot then watching this first will enormously enhance your enjoyment. Also very useful for introducing youngsters to Shakespeare

The animation is of poor quality and looks very dated. It has the feel of a students end of year piece. However the script adaption is well written and mildly humorous. It is not laugh out loud funny, which in my book, a good comedy should be. This is much better than the BBC Shakespeare (with Helen Mirren), which is just dreadful, far to worthy, and very boring. At least this is short and well-paced, the BBC play is plodding with awful sound quality. At least I could keep my eyes open through this version.
