Misleading - NOT a 100 hour chronograph
on 13 May 2011
Do not be decieved; despite the claim of a 100-hour chronograph, this is NOT the whole truth. I bought this because I needed something to show a continuous time of at least 31 hours -this is because of a planned world record endurance event to raise money for charity, and we need to prove to Guinness that we have done it for as long as we said. So I needed something which would run continuously for at least 31 hours. Needless to say, when I saw the words 100-hour chronograph, I didnt hesitate.
There is a yellow card as part of the inner packaging which actually states "100-hour chronograph". However, the back of the box talks about timing for "all 1440 minutes of your day" - this is, indeed, 24 hours. More importantly, the instruction booklet clearly states a "24-hour chronograph", and goes on to say that after 24 hours the chronograph reverts to zero, which makes it absolutely useless for my needs and totally misleading in terms of an apparent 100-hour chronograph.
In a word, I'm livid.
