4.0 out of 5 stars Misro Talking Dalek
This is the latest Dalek toy to make use of mico electronics giving a pretty authentic Dalek voice and several phrases.
I bought this as a gift for a 7 year old son of a relative who was delighted to receive it. On a down side the young boy had to be made to understand that this toy would easily get broken asn the 'limbs' & eye stalk were very fine. For most 7 year...

3.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy, but fun
Cute plastic toy, but a tad on the flimsy side. It's a nice collectable, but don't count on any children to keep it in one piece. The audio is loud and mechanical as you would expect. Some of the lines are a bit hard to hear.

On a down side the young boy had to be made to understand that this toy would easily get broken asn the 'limbs' & eye stalk were very fine. For most 7 year olds this toy would not survive long so I imagine the biggest number of purchasers would be grown up kids!!

Still a cool toy though.

This is a nicely detailed little Dalek, with a decent digital voice. However, the "limbs" and eyestalk are extremely delicate - especially the eyestalk, which will snap if a child (or adult) uses it to turn the head. It's an attractive collectable, but definitely not recommended as a children's toy. A much better choice for a more rugged Dalek are the Corgi miniatures, or some of the 5" plastic Daleks now available.
