Fantastic toy

i thought freddy was lovely but my 7 month old granddaughter was not impressed, probably would have been more impressed if it had been musical

I have bought 3 Lamaze toys for my 7 month old daughter and this one is her favourite. It is very colourful, which is typical of the Lamaze range, and has lots of crinkly bits and a button that squeaks. She is entertained for a while biting on the red teething ladybird and also likes chewing on the rings. It is a big toy and hangs well from a play gym or pram. It is a bit difficult to clean but comes up fine with a good scrub with a sponge and hot soapy water. I can't recommend these toys enough, especially Freddie the Firefly.

Great toy for alert babies, 16 Aug 2008
I bought this toy for my son when he was born as he is a baby that is always awake so needs lots of stimulation. This has been one of the best buys as he loves the squeaker and the colours meant he could see it when he was a few weeks old. It also rattles and he is now able to get hold of the rings at the bottom to chew. I actually put this toy in the washing machine when it fell out of the car and it was fine - the squeaker still works. A must have for those with active babies.

I bought this toy as it looked like it would hold my attention as well as my baby's! It did the trick as there are so many little details on it. Alongside the bright colours, which were great for my newborn as he is not able to feel the different materials yet, the back is black and white which he spends forever gazing at. Having bought the lamaze monkey also, Freddie has much more to do, including a mirror under one wing-great for peek-a-boo!

I highly recommend that toy for all babies ffrom 0 mths. It has all the features you are looking for in a stimulating toy. Different textures, beautiful colours, something to touch, feel, chew on. Makes squeky noise. Has a little miror thet babies love:) Absolutely brilliant:)

bright, colourful and fun, 12 Feb 2009
My 6 month old has enjoyed this toy for past 4 months. Its great to look at and my little one loves the feel of it. They attach onto other toys, bags and car seats well. I have three similar Lamaze toys and i never leave the house without at least one of them.

My 5 month old daughter adores Freddy and will not go anywhere without it. She is teething at the moment and has been a great aid for this. Great product, great value. Will definitely be buying more of these toys!

I didn't think babies could have 'favourite' toys but this is the one which makes my daughters face light up each time, she loves every bit of Freddie and he can keep her occupied for a very long time. I've now started to send a Freddie to friends as gifts for their babies as it's something that will last much longer than an item of clothing and gives the baby more pleasure!

I got this for my twins sons when they were about 3 months old and they love it! I have since bought it as a gift for the babies of a few friends and have heard similar reports. The toy has remained a constant favourite for both my boys.
