Find your hands, find your toes!
Lamaze have come up with another highly entertaining toy for babies. The two wrists strap each have a bug shaped rattle on. The velcro design of the fixing means that they are very adjustable and will fit baby's wrists for a long while. My baby enjoys them and I don't have to worry about him dropping them the whole time. The socks aren't quite so good. The design is...

Okay, but come off easily!
I bought these recently for my three month old daugher. I put them on her feet and they'd come off within a few minutes and they keep doing so! She instantly found them attractive but highly frusrating that after wrigging her feet a few times, she'd fetched them off. The socks are too loose and don't have enough give in them to make them a snug enough fit. Only...

Find your hands, find your toes!, 1 Sep 2008
Lamaze have come up with another highly entertaining toy for babies. The two wrists strap each have a bug shaped rattle on. The velcro design of the fixing means that they are very adjustable and will fit baby's wrists for a long while. My baby enjoys them and I don't have to worry about him dropping them the whole time. The socks aren't quite so good. The design is more like a sack, so they don't stay on baby's feet well at all; a velcro strap might help in a future design. Again they each have a bug shaped rattle on and they certainly encourage baby to reach for his toes. So 4 stars - the design for the socks could do with a tweak, but a lovely product all the same.

Okay, but come off easily!, 14 May 2008

She instantly found them attractive but highly frusrating that after wrigging her feet a few times, she'd fetched them off. The socks are too loose and don't have enough give in them to make them a snug enough fit. Only recommended if your baby has fat feet!
Having said that, the wrist rattles are fine and she likes those!

Best toy bought so far, 18 Mar 2008
This was the first toy that completely captured the attention of my 3 months old. Started with the wrist rattles which he loved to stare at for ages and now at 4 months he's finding the foot rattles lots more fun bouncing his feet up to grab the bugs and then ofcourse trying to put his feet into his mouth! Definately recommend

Not really worth the money, 20 Feb 2009
The foot bits are useless as they have no shape and fall straight off. My baby was never interested in the wrist wraps, but i now have them fastened around the handle of his car seat and he talks to them!
The rattles are too quiet and you can only hear them if you hold them to your ear.
Not really a successful buy for us.

Bug Wrist/ & Ankle rattles, 25 Jan 2008
These were a brilliant purchase - countless hours of entertainment watching your child trying to figure out where the bugs have come from, over and over again as they learn to co-ordinate their hands and feet!

Sweet Toy, 22 Mar 2008
I love this little set, and so does my baby girl. She is three and a half months old and discovered her hands recently. She stares at the bugs and tries to put them in her mouth. She is taking some notice of her feet while I change her so it is only a matter of time before the socks grab her attention too. The black and white stripes and rattle/crinkle sounds are very engaging. (The little bug faces are adorable too!)

cute, but wouldn't buy them myself, 30 Jun 2009
They were a present for my little boy and I couldn't wait to see him playing with them.
So far he liked watching them only. He is three months now and the closest he gets to playing with them is when he chews the butterfly's wings.
I attach the rattles to his cot bars and he still likes watching them, but I guess as much as he would watch anything colourful within eyesight.
The socks are difficult to put on as they are not elastic at all, and very easy to pull off. And when on his legs they are of no interest to him. Very soon they will be too tight to fit his legs anyway.
Overall, a very pretty design but the idea doesn't work well unfortunately.

Lame and ill-fitting, 20 Feb 2009
I was looking for a good toy that would help develop my little ones co-ordination.
However, this product is so quiet that little Chloe doesn't even notice she is wearing the wrist rattles.
Mind you there is so little play in the wrist straps, I'd probably struggle to get them on her now and she's only 12 weeks old.
The ankle rattles - well she doesn't wear these at all because they don't stay on her feet for more than a few seconds.
They are very badly designed with no elastic in the ankle to keep them on baby's feet and the shape just isn't suitable for any child with normal feet.
They're also somewhat on the small side, so even with a bit of elastic stitched in, you have a challenge keeping them on a baby's feet.
Not that impressed!

Far too small, 11 Dec 2008
Far too small to go round even a small baby's wrists and socks just come off so pretty much useless from day one! Cute but a waste of time.

fab baby friends, 21 Oct 2008
This a fantastic learning toy my baby loves it, there is so much for them to take in they will never grow tired as there always something new to explore. the only problem we had was putting all 4 bright noisy bugs on at the same time was a bit overwelming at first so i would suggest trying one at a time at 20 min intervals
