4.0 out of 5 stars Great Panorama shots
I recently bought an Olympus E 510 twin-lens kit and it came with a fairly slow 2 GB CF card. So I bought this... It works noticeably more quickly than the CF card and the panorama function is fantastic! Just plug the camera into PC via USB, and everything happens on its own with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. 2.0 out of 5 stars Don't be fooled...
Don't be fooled by the marketing, the special arty extra's and panorama features Olympus promotes are not worth having - you get a handful of tacky frames and messages to add to your photos e.g. Congratulations / Happy Birthday etc. Get any card so long as its fast and add effects or stitch photos together for panoramic shots on your PC.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Panorama shots, 21 Mar 2008
I recently bought an Olympus E 510 twin-lens kit and it came with a fairly slow 2 GB CF card. So I bought this... It works noticeably more quickly than the CF card and the panorama function is fantastic! Just plug the camera into PC via USB, and everything happens on its own with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. The card-reading thing is a bit annoying (my lap-top recognises and reads it, but my desk-top does not), but that is easily overcome with the USB transfer. The card does what it says and - so long as your camera is compatible - then you need have no worries. The panorama function is far more than the gimmick I thought it would be and does produce astonishing results with little or no fiddling.

4.0 out of 5 stars Olympus 2Gb XD Picture Card, 30 May 2007
By tim (uk) - See all my reviews
Using this on a Fuji S5000 at the moment. Permits a phenomenal number of shots at highest resolution (1000+)
Only problem is with downloading. my 8 in 1 card reader will not recognise that there is data on the card and wants to format the card in some odd way ! Have had to use USB from camera- which works ok.

5.0 out of 5 stars Olympus 2GB Type M XD Card , 10 Jun 2008
By Donna (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
Just received a second XD card, excellent product and worth having for the panoramic function with Olympus Cameras. A note on the postage, it may be £4.99 but even with that it's a bargain - less than £14 all in for something in the camera shops that retails for nearly £50

4.0 out of 5 stars Bags of storage, 9 Sep 2008

I bought this xD-picture card with an Olympus Mju 820 Digital Compact Camera and I cannot fault it. I think previous reviewers' limitations must be more to do with the camera than this xD-picture card. With the Olympus Mju 820, I can store 999 pictures (or so it says, as I have never taken that many before downloading onto my PC) and well over an hour and a half of video. I have not tested this to its full extent, but, I can confirm that I have taken 5 minutes of continuous video with this camera, with the data being stored on this xD-Picture card.

As a test of my theory, try recording a video on the camera without any additional memory inserted, i.e. on the built in memory. Even if the built-in memory is just 32Mb, it should be able to video a 1-2 minutes. But if it stops videoing after, say, 40 seconds, then it is probably a camera limitation and not the memory card - I tried this on an old digital Olympus camera which was restricted to just 20 seconds, no matter if additional memory was inserted or not.

Good value. It may take around a week to be delivered, so it is worth ordering in advance, a great saving. Worth stocking up on for holidays, especially if you are using your digital camera for filming.

5.0 out of 5 stars VIDEO FUNCTION, 25 Aug 2008

WITH FUJI xD M PICTURE CARDS I FOUND THAT THE VIDEO CLIPS ARE LIMITED TO 40 SECS AT A TIME IN MY OLYMPUS 570 UZ CAMERA; WHEREAS WITH THE OLYMPUS xD M+ PICURE CARD THE LIMIT IS HOW MUCH SPARE CAPACITY THERE IS LEFT ON THE CARD. ALSO PANAROMIC FUNCTION OF THE Olympus 2GB Type M XD Card with panorama function AVOIDS NEED TO MESS AROUND ON PC.

5.0 out of 5 stars Caution, 22 Sep 2009
If you have little knowledge of digital cameras, do not follow Amazons "what people also purchased" line, I followed this and ended up buying a memory card that wasn't suitable for the camera, waste of 12 quid.
Products ok but havn't got anything to judge it against

5.0 out of 5 stars Great card - but not as illustrated, 16 Aug 2009

I bought two of these cards for my cameras - a Fuji S9600 and an S8100fd. I bought these cards going on the illustration - of an M card - but the cards that arrived were M+ cards. I checked with Fuji and they worked with my cameras - but they are not compatible with all digital cameras, so check before ordering. Having said that, they're great cards that work a treat. Delivery was quick and contact with the firm when I queried the cards was fine (by email). I'd buy again.
