4.0 out of 5 stars Not Fancy, But Fun
Some have critiqued the simplicity of this series as being unable to capture a child's attention. However, the simplicity is just what makes it perfect for children overexposed to special effects and explosions. I have a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old, and they STILL enjoy watching these. That's exactly what you get with these series from 'La vibora de la mar'. Besides, they are so boring they cannot even keep a 15 month old enganged. Never have. They lack action,...

Some have critiqued the simplicity of this series as being unable to capture a child's attention. However, the simplicity is just what makes it perfect for children overexposed to special effects and explosions. I have a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old, and they STILL enjoy watching these. The segments are short enough to keep the attention of toddlers, but the overarching themes work for slightly older kids as well. Add to this classical music and the best of Hispanic poetry and nursery rhymes, and you have something definitely worth watching a second time.

That's exactly what you get with these series from 'La vibora de la mar'. Besides, they are so boring they cannot even keep a 15 month old enganged. Never have. They lack action, colour, and knowledge about the psychology of the child. Save yourself some time and money and don't buy this DVD.
