This has the look and feel of a high quality product, but... video quality is very poor; contrast and colour reproduction are both effected.
Back to back testing against an alternative HDMI cable using the same display settings point to a poor purchase decision.
Spend some more money to get better results!

I BOUGHT THIS AS A PACKAGE WITH MY NEW PHILIPS HTS6510 HOME CINEMA AND SAMSUNG LE40M87 1080I TV HOWEVER WHEN I WATCH ANYTHING THRU THE NEW HDMI LEADS THE PICTURE IS WORSE WITH EDGE DEFINITION AWFUL AND OVERPOWERING BLACKS THAN THRU MY SCART LEADS ,CONTACTED MY TV MAN WHO CHECKED SETTINGS AND HE TOLD ME THE CABLE MUST BE FAULTY AS THE PICTURE THRU SCART IS VERY GOOD AND SHOULD IMPROVE THRU THE HDMI SO SENT BACK! PITY AS IT LOOKS QUALITY!

I've bought the cable and cant yet afford the TV but I'm sure it will enhance quality of picture

Its one of the best workout procedure and its good for the back because it reduces back pain. The first time I saw it, it was in a friend's house and I started using it for workout. It builds and tone the body.

When I connected this lead to my Plasma TV and DVD it did not work. It also blocked my HDMI output on my Pioneer Plasma TV. The Linx HDMI cable is now in the bin.

i have ordred a plasma tv and cable i haven't received plasma tv,but i got HDMI cable. only cable what i have to do. again i ordred another tv with cable this time no plasma,i have received cable,if i send back this cables i have to pay 3.46 pence for postal charge.i have no idea why should i pay for return unecessery item postal carge.i paid 4.92 pence for postal charge for cable. plasma tv iam waiting for next world cup.

the only thing is that on my ps3 i play fifa08 and it makes all the players look a bit tall, but not enough to annoy you about it

I bought this cable to connect my Humax Foxsat HDR Freesat recorder which I purchased at the same time. Unfortunately Amazon did not provide the information that a HDMI cable was already included & I was fooled by the "Purchasers of this item also bought..." statement. More suckers like me are now the proud owners of a spare HDMI cable. I'm sure it works really well & it looks great in a nice clear blister pack but it's still £8.09 I could have managed without spending

Amazon do not give any idea of what benefits this cable has when buying an HDMI screen. Such information could be contained in "more about this product" so that those from the ealier half of the 20th century can evaluate whether this is merely a good buy, or essential for the optimum operation of the monitor. The equipment that came with the LG 50,000:1 contrast 23 inch screen etc seems to be perfectly adequate. When my six year old grandson has time, I shall ask him to fit this cable and we shall compare the benefits. Meanwhile it looks impressive lying unpacked somewhere in my mucky cubby hole.
