If you are looking for an album to help you chill out with a loved one to read a book or something, you might as well turn away now.

Impressions In Blood is a fantastic and extremely brutal album by good ol' Vader. This band doesn't stop for no one and this is certainly no exception. Fans of Vader probably have this album already and if they don't, they really should.

This album contains fantastic tracks like the opening Shadowfear and the surprisingly catchy sing a long Helleluyah (God Is Dead). These aren't song for the weak hearted but they are ideal for every death metal fan. I don't see a lot of people praising this album and it is a shame because it is a very solid professionally made album that rocks as hard today as it did back in 2006.

Impressions In Blood is in my opinion, a death metal classic. Every extreme metal fan should own this record or at least try it out.

It's Vader. What do you need to know?

I still think their best album is Litany. But this album doesn't let anything down. Still the relentless, pulverising, classic Vader. Fast and tight rhythm section, twinned with equally expert guitars and topped off with perfectly fitting aggressive vocal timbre. Except a little more learned and evolved than previous outings. A great death/thrash outing. Perfect!
