4.0 out of 5 stars ifs old and unknown but good
i know most people havnt heard of this film as being a sandra bullock fan i only found out about it a litttle while ago. the film is one which incorparates many social and reil life issues. yet it deals with them in such a way the film is very enjoyable. the story is funny and yet seriouse at the same time if you like my so called life and party of five, then give this...

3.0 out of 5 stars worth watching but it won't rock your world
There is some very good acting in When The Party's Over and it was filmed in some great locations. It held my attention for two hours but I didn't laugh, cry or get shocked by anything I saw.

Perhaps that's just because I'm a cynic and expect rich kids to behave this badly!A film worth watching but don't expect it to rock your world.

I would say that i am one of Sandra Bullock's biggest fans. I have either enjoyed the movies she has been or at least enjoyed her performance. Unfortunately, she doesn't even get a chance in this film.
The main problem is that it can't really decide on a story line and jumps between the six characters, not really sure which story to expand on.It tries to be meaningful (including some really bizarre piece of performance art which will leave you with your mouth open!)
I wouldn't want anyone to waste two hours of their life watching this movie. I can only presume that the other review was by the seller, so that muggins here bought the DVD.
Aboid at all costs. Watch 28 Days instead!
