All the reviews here are accurate. A brilliant debut album, from the best new British hard rock band to emerge in many years. Excellent musicians, excellent songs. Superb production. A truly great live band, and four of the nicest lads you could ever hope to meet.

Buy it.

It has been many years since I listened to something so good. Like drinking beautiful red wine. Full-bodied classic hard rock with soul, depth and confidence. To be enjoyed again, and again and again...

Good rock music. Nothing original about it but it's done properly with big riffs, weaving solos and a stong singer. Most of the references of the other reviews are spot on - if you like Cry of Love and Black Crowes (or some of the better Reef songs) then you'll hear the similarities but you'll also really like it.

If your record collection has any or all of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath etc - buy this now. If not, why not......and buy this now anyway! In the same way Oasis reworked the greats of British pop, so the Rise do the same in the rock genre with great originality - though that appears to be something of a contradiction! Brilliant.

I will start with a confession, until a month ago i had never heard of this band, however, i saw them supporting Whitesnake in Manchester and they were brilliantand blew me away; far better than the greatest hits caberet show that followed.

I bought the Cd the day it came out and it is a stunning collection of hard rock/blues, with touches and tips of the hat to Zepplin, Rory Gallager, Free, AC/DC but remaining fresh original and modern with great musicianship. I could go through the album track by track but that would be pointless as each and every track is a winner.

Real credit must go to all four lads, however,it is the brilliant guitar and vocals that make this a work of real genius and if there is any justice in the world they should be the real future of British rock not the pantomime buffons that are the Darkness.

So buy this album you will not be disappointed.

Im a bit slow on the uptake you might say but finally hearing this album. It knocked me for six! The Answer are brilliant and one can easily hear the groups that the boys are influenced by. I now have to purchase a copy ASAP and recommend this to all that love rock music, Just thought I`d add that the vocals remind me of Paul Rogers Robert Plant and Toby from Little Angels, Not all the time but occasionally the musicianship is second to none, and the whole group are Spot on!. 70`s rock in a 21`st style..

Finally The Answers debut album has been released. These guys have been growing in popularity and have been supporting on some big arena tours (currently with Whitesnake) and have been going down a storm. Zeppelin and Free influenced this is new "classic rock" at it's best... From the opening track Under The Sky to the end, it's 48 minutes of great music. Rock On guys and keep flying the flag for rock music.

The answer to all our prayers...finally a beefy retro rock abum with new teeth..The Answer may be compared to Zep , but with a rich mix of styles they evoke the best of the mid to late 70s with modern touches which make this an unmissable disc...

Saw them a while back...they do suffer from a bit of an image issue...they would be unbeatable if they looked like whitesnake!! anyway they are young and with this album being as good as it is they will have stylists knocking at thier door...buy this cd now you'll love it!!!

ignore the music presss most of whom have never sold a single record of their own, and listen to this.

This is great classic rock. Even if you do not like classic rock then listen anyway, good tunes and music played with the right attitude. It's not going to change the world but it may just lighten your day.
