Given that it bears the Ministry branding, I was expecting this to be a pretty cheesy (sorry Ministry fans!) affair. How wrong I was...

Disc 1 has all the classic Sneak devices in place - classy, slinky deep house (opening track "If" by Audio Werner putting that mark on from the off), shades of Balearic house in the shape of "Body Bump" by Silent Salesman, soulful vocals , particularly "Sweat of your Brow" by Jully Black, ultra-hip Euro-Tech from Claude Von Stroke building to a raucous, party climax on the closing track. In my opinion the mix is pitched perfectly in terms of tempo and sashays it's way through the various colours and textures typical of a party-oriented mix from Sneak.

Disc 2 is much more of a stomper. This is the one that will upset your neighbours/parents/housemates/other House-averse persons within earshot of your stereo as it just begs to be cranked up some. Picking up perfectly where Disc 1 left off with Justin Martin & Sammy D's "Swamp Thang" the 4am party stomp continues on through the D.O.N.S. kick-ass reworking of Technotronic's "Pump up the Jam" through more Balearic rocking in Sneak's own "Salsa Elektrika" then briefly blisses-out on "Bacon Mohican" from Grande Booffont, my personal favourite track. Some fairly exemplary electronic madness from Daft Punk follows shortly after, continued through the next track then onto "Newoldsh*T" from Chris Simmonds. The mix concludes with the sultry vocals and latin-influenced rhythms of Only Freak's "Viper Vapour" and an outro of Sneak's own making (not listed on the Amazon tracklist) placing a satisfied smile on the face of the listener (well, this one at the very least).

I've played this mix to a number of different people, all of whom have loved it. If you're a fan of Sneak, buy it. If you're a fan of Ministry CDs it will make a very interesting addition to your collection. If you're a fan of any sort of house music, it should be on your shopping list. I got mine about 3 weeks ago, I've barely listened to anything else since. IMHO, absolutely first class.
