5.0 out of 5 stars Another Classic Of The 80`s, 5 Jun. 2006
This review is from: Loud and Clear (Audio CD)
This album is full to bursting with great songs. Autograph were one of the best Metal acts of the 80`s. Anyone who`s a fan of commercial, singable metal will love this lot !!

After the success of there debut "Sign In Please" [ A must Buy ! ] The bands follow up called "That`s The Stuff" effectivly floped So the presure was on. They took there time in writing & recording this & the The Result is simply Brilliant !!

From the opening bars of the title track "Loud & Clear" you no this is going to be one of those albums ! Stand out tracks for me are "Loud & Clear" "She Never Looked That Good For Me" "Dance All Night" "She`s A Tease""Just Got Back From Heaven" "More Than A Million Times" "When The Sun Goes Down" practicully every track on this album is a killer. Sadly this was the last album these guys did. Due to record company incompitence the band never got the promotion there music deserved. The version of this i`ve got is Remastered & with a great insert booklet by Paul Suter [ one time Kerrang writer] explaining what happend to the band. Absolutley great stuff !!

If you like your Metal singable with songs you`ll be singing for weeks on end then this & there Debut "Sign In Please" are absolutley must haves!! Go Buy !!

5.0 out of 5 stars they gave "hair metal" a good name..., 1 Mar. 2008
This review is from: Loud & Clear (Audio CD)
This is Autograph third and last album of the mighty '80s, when music was loud and hair long. excellent AOR produced by Sir Andy Johns, guitar lovers will appreciate Steve Lynch brilliant guitar playing. This is the original RCA released from april 1987, "loud and clear" is now available in remastered and expanded reissue from the rock candy label.

5.0 out of 5 stars they really gave "hair metal" a good name !!!, 1 Mar. 2008
This review is from: Loud and Clear (Audio CD)
this is the remastered and expanded reissue from the rock candy label, very informative 16-page colour booklet. excellent musicianship, great AOR songs, Autograph was the ultimate AOR PARTY band of the late eighties. unfortunately no extra-tracks but a great remastered reissue, and the opportunity to hear a good album that was out of print for a long time on its original RCA 1987 CD issue!
